Oops. Second post of the day. O.o Sorry.

Anyway. Been researching on Adobe Photoshop. By Gawd it's expensive.. as is Corel Painter, Open Canvas and a host of other digital imaging software..xP Darn. You know, I was really hoping it wouldn't cost so much money so it'd be easier to convince my dad but all my plans are now shattered.. And i'm still gathering the pieces while licking the cuts and thinking of another solution.

Adobe Photoshop CS2 is, on its own, US$699. And the whole Creative Suite which has really good sounding programmes is US$1199 on the site. O.o *dies* You could buy a bloody bag with that kind of money!!! Whatever happened to their software for non-professionals?!

The features sound absolutely fantastic though. I mean, obviously. I checked the Adobe site and they are more than likely to try to promote their product and conveniently leave out the flaws. Sigh. I'm not into tech stuff so I have no idea where the less biased forums are so I can check it out, find out the full range of tools, what I would use, why I need it and thus.. gain knowledge to impress my dad and convince him I need photoshop!!! =P It's all quite complicated however, since there are so many features in photoshop. And a lot of the features that are featured tend to be of use to the more professional types rather than I, the newbie to Photoshop. It sounds very.. complicated and technical which is slightly intimidating for someone new to the programme. But seeing as how other people, with experience, can manipulate the programme and develop images that are absolutely amazing, I don't see why I can't learn to do it too.

Just that it'd take a bit more time.. and slightly more patience. ^_^" and quite a bit of money.

Also, I'm looking for a harddisk drive to backup my files. O yes. I'm sure you know which ones..xP So yes. Seeing as how my computer is occasionally unstable and unreliable, I need a more reliable place to backup my files. The problem with these Hard Disk Drives [or HDDs] is that..they are pretty expensive. And on top of that.. You can't really get a cheap one without fearing for your stuff. Like cheap CDs that you can burn, cheap HDDs might get corrupted or..whatever. I suppose a reliable one would be from an established manufacturer and might involve more money than you thought such a small thing could command. [Then again. Diamonds are puny and still people buy them no matter what the cost.]

The Fujitsu sounds rather promising and is very small and portable for something that holds at least 40GB [available up to 100GB]. It's pretty expensive though when you compare it to Samsung which is 250GB but is rather ugly and not very portable. They are almost the same price for a 40GB Fujitsu and a 250GB Samsung according to the website. O.o Gasp. Anyway, I'm trying to find a recognisable brand in this country so it would be easy to buy and have technical support in the event it dies on you. I suppose Fujitsu is a good choice.^_^ Plus my dad's laptop [and my brother's as well..-_-] is a Fujitsu and it's fabulous! I love it. It's so light, compared to other laptops and it's really quite functional. It's got a DVD player and if I'm not wrong, a CD-writer as well I think. But the Samsung is not exactly expensive for so much storage space! Doesn't look portable though. And it won't ever win a style award. The question is.. Do I really need so much storage space? And the most important question is.. Which one is my dad willing to buy and pay for?

Groan. Too many products.. too little money! xP Too many choices! *sigh* I guess.. I won't be getting photoshop till like..say..next year? If not, I'll just waste all my days learning how to use it instead of studying. So yes. This blog template will remain unedited for like..forever.=( Sigh.

cheers

Is that not the most adorable thing ever? And better yet.. It's a series!!! From deviantart.

Hello

Just returned home from a discussion with my dad's friend about psychology. Rather insightful I must say.. and psychology really doesn't sound like such a bad thing to study.=) Before that.. Went to do qing ming duties. *nods* The place was completely deserted. Quite a surprise really..since we usually don't go so late in the month for qing ming..

Hmm. At the moment, all fields in psychology prefer a Masters' student compared to one with only an undergraduate degree.I'm thinking that maybe in the uni, I'll do some modules on psychology, and some modules for marketing/advertising and then decide which I like better. I think I need that kind of flexibility right now since I'm all indecisive and hesitant when it comes to actually making a proper decision on what to major in.

She explained to me that clinical, educational, industrial organizational and neuro psychology are the main fields in this country. Everything else isn't really used here or isn't really an established field. Neuro is 100% out. Study of the brain? Ahem. No thank you. Educational involves working with kids. Like. Urhm. ^_^" So the most viable options would be clinical where you get to work with a wide range of people and industrial which is the most lucrative money-wise. However, in industrial, you don't really work with people on a personal basis since you deal with management and stuff like that. Which isn't bad of course but I'm afraid I'll grow bored and like.. Just go for it for the moolah. And that isn't the point at all since you should really try to find something you enjoy and work at it. Clinical psychology though, isn't well paying apparently. =( Sadly.

I think the best thing I can do would be to just try out the modules and see if it interests me. Or if marketing/advertising seems more interesting. Well. As she did point out to remind me, psychology bachelor's is beyond general so you can really do anything after that. But if you want to be a psychologist, the best thing would be to pursue a further postgraduate degree. On the other hand, marketing/advertising is rather specific and wouldn't let you go into psychology if I suddenly change my mind. So perhaps psychology is a good choice? But marketing and advertising sound so interesting..

I polished off half a box of pineapple tarts just now. Okay. Maybe less. And it was quite a small box too! xP But anyway. I love pineapple tarts. And these pineapple tarts from Joo Chiat are fantastic! I think they are slightly too sweet though, but it's not overwhelmingly so. The pastry is slightly dry but goes very well with the sticky and slightly wet pineapple filling, which is fantastic by the way, and so they complement each other and all's well in pineapple tart land.=) My mother bought a lot of pineapple tarts so she can decide which ones to order for people.-.-" Fantastic. So much for all her plans for me to lose weight...

xP

Ladida. I'm wondering what work I should do tonight. *thinks thinks* But all I can think about is how I should get my mom to believe that yes, I do need suits for GYLC and that blazer in my wardrobe is not going to cut it!!! -.-" But I doubt she'll truly believe me unless someone comes along to rescue me from sartorial disaster. Sigh. But in any case, I really do need clothes. Since my wardrobe is currently singing with joy at all the space that is available for it to hop around in. xP I would love a new pair of jeans.. But having just gotten a pair last year.. (T_T) Hope is not high. Unless I can find a pair that can double up as "formal" trousers! *eyes sparkle* OOH. xD But chances are not high either. Sigh. O well. Let's see. What shall I need?

- Suits [Blazer + pants or skirts]
- Blouses to wear under suit [they don't allow anything else.-.-"]
- Tops for casual wear [like.durh. I need this beyond the conference even..]
- Semi-formal Attire whatever that means [do they mean..a dress? Or is a 2-piece fine too? Or..?]
- Large hand-carry bag [able to fit A4 stuff, plane essentials, extra change of clothes, etc etc etc]
- more stuff that I cannot think of now but that I know I need. Hehe.

Right. There's tau kwa pau for dinner!!! Oh how I love tau kwa pau.xD And soya sauce chicken as well. Yay! =D The family is going for some stupid rally tonight but I shall detach myself from such political activism and stay home to ahem.. try and study. ^_^"

Hello!

xD Yay! Hehe. Just returned home from town.=) Happy Birthday Weekend Brenda!! =D

Had debate today. It wasn't so bad because the j1s were around and we were actually trying to get them to do something. You know. Anything.xP Sigh. Anyway. It was quite fun. We were just gossiping the whole way.. And we actually fell asleep during the prep time for the impromptu round. ^_^" Heh. I heard in the distant depths of sleep, people walking by and talking about us. I think it would have made a rather funny sight to take a photo of 5 girls in uniform, tie and court shoes sleeping in the canteen.

Left early to go for tuition. Groan. I hate P&C!!! xP In fact. I really don't like probability either. It's so darn difficult to see it the way they want you to see it.xP And for all those who are already good at math.. SHUSH. xP Allow someone bad at it to whine and complain endlessly. At least the music playing was nice. ^_^" Heh. X Japan! Miyavi! Gackt! Hyde! Alice Nine!

I have to say. Alice Nine is pretty good. Haha. Random. Sorry.=P

Anyway. Went to meet brenda after that. *squeals!* And at Future State.. I saw this gorgeous corset top!!! xD *beams* So I tried it.. loved it.. [Brenda agrees!] and wanted to buy it but..-.-" The stupid place only had one piece left and it was stained. With this.. foundation thing. -.-" So Brenda and I decided that we'd try the Taka branch. First though.. We had to eat. You know. It's an all important event when we get together.xD Hehe.

Beard Papa was having this special promotion where you can buy a Beard Papa Set for $4.80 consisting of one cream puff, one coronet and one chocolat eclair. Alternatively, you can get a Tio Glutton set for the same price and it consists of one chocolate fondant, one tiramisu and one cheesestick. Gosh. I was so tempted. But Beard Papa won!! =D Brenda and I are absolutely in love with them cream puffs. The pastry is so light and airy and happy tasting! =D And then the cream.. Oh my gosh. Do you know how I adore the Beard Papa cream? It's surprisingly light for something so creamy and is infused with the aroma of Vanilla. Plus, you can see the Vanilla seeds in the cream which is a wonderful creamy yellow.=D Very appetising. And very very good. xD It is my dream to be able to make a cream like that. *sigh* Brenda and I were consuming it in a very unglamorous position near Hushush. ^_^" And this guy beside me asked where we got it from. Mwahaha. The addictive power of Beard Papa! =P We ate sushi too. As a "starter". Haha.

Went to Kino after that. Wee! I grabbed the very last copy of Arena 37C that magically appeared when I turned to ask the Kino staff for it. And to think the shipment just arrived last night!!! *shocked* O zeelei! Aren't you lucky? =D I was so thrilled! Haha. I took the liberty of flipping through it and goshh. Gazette looks good. And so does..ahem..Kat-Tun. And Miyavi as well! And there's dong fang shen qi! With the guy who looks a lot like Jin. Haha.=P And there was..ahem..G-man as well.^_^ Even Brenda had to admit that he looked fabulous there. *beams* At the photobook section.. I not only found w-inds' Ageha book at $50 [you've made savings Jiamin! =P], I also discovered Gackt's The Air Moon Project!!! =( Sigh. It's like..almost $90 I think? And I don't know what the pictures inside look like so.. I'm not quite willing to part with my cash for it. And I certainly won't be buying For Dears..especially with the off-putting price tag. I mean.$90 to see him in those tight snakeskin pants? No thanks. I don't like his hairstyle then too. So yes. *nods* Every reason to spend that $90 somewhere else. Brenda was reliving old memories with the F4 photobooks. Haha.=P She liked urhm. Jerry Yen? Is that how you spell it? *shrugs* I think his nose is weird. But you know. To each his own. There was this gorgeous Won Bin photobook though. O my gosh. He looks so damned fabulous on the cover.*squeals!*

Headed to HMV after that. Sorry zeelei. The guy was completely useless at checking up the limited edition for me. -.-" He told me stuff I could've found myself online. Idiot. I tell you. That guy provides really shit service. *rolls eyes* Anyway. Not only does HMV not have the CD details, they don't have the picture of it either. And the limited edition is a CD Maxi and it only has 4 tracks compared to the regular edition's 6 tracks. So..that was the only discernable difference.=P And I saw one other girl taking the Gackt tour dvd!! Thank goodness I bought my copy already.xP Can you imagine if I returned and it was gone?? Forever!!!

I brought Brenda to see the adverts of Kame and Jin at mise exclusive upstairs. And she agrees with me that Kame is extremely good looking in the advert behind the counter! Haha..=P And they have all the Gackt Diabolos tour goods now.xP Totally overpriced though. I saw the stuff online and the pictures come in a folder of 4 [or was it 3?] but in the shop, they are sold separately for practically the same price as one folder. [Ok. Maybe less. But still!] And the photos are nice.. But not worth the price. Besides. What the hell would one do with it?! O.o Pinning it up is just so.. I don't know. 3 million years ago.xP And Brenda was trying to look for pictures of G-man where he looks "manly". Haha.=P At least she found some. Though she's convinced that in this one photo, he looks like Michael Jackson. -.-" -.-" -.-" Thanks Brenda. That totally made my day.xP

Hung out at Food Republic till we left town.=) *beams* As I've mentioned.. it's always fun hanging out with Brenda. Too bad Calissa wasn't there.. xP Silly girl. O well.=) I hope you had a great birthday Brenda!!! =D

What a wasted day. I have to do my work tomorrow. Perhaps start on yet another of those dratted SBQs. Then I might be free from it..till like.Next week.O my! Monday's a holiday! I just remembered! *beams* Maybe I can convince my mom to go shopping if I do my work tomorrow..teehee.=P Ahh!! Jiamin! Zeelei! We have to think about GYLC clothes soon.-.-" And I have to stock up my wardrobe. Like. Now. Shopping people! Shopping!

I want to learn Japanese.. *gazes wistfully at faraway country to the North*

And Jiamin.. Thank you for helping us place orders on Yesasia! =D And having to go through all the shitty service. Thank you so much!!! ^_^ Soon! We'll be able to look at Keita and company! And Miyavi! And.. G-man! If you want to that is.^_^" Heh.

cheers

Hello..

Happy Early Birthday Vivion!!! =D

Happy Birthday Don!!! =D

Wee! Went to celebrate Vivion's birthday by bowling!! Haha. Utterly hilarious. The other lane kept looking at our scores though.-.-" Nothing wrong with double digit scores dude. Especially when you're talking about amateurs. Hrmph. xP Had debate before that so I'm really really drained right now. But nevertheless..

Gasp! Shock! Could it be? That she isn't spamming the whole entry with pictures??? Ooh.O.o Neoprint time! Shan't photospam here. So yes. Please visit this link. [If it doesn't work or anything, please tag me. Because..well..there's a first time for everything. Heh.=P] [And do ask me to send you the photo if you like.^_^ Only applies to those who are actually in the photo. Or who is directly associated with it.xP]

Before debate, Jiamin and I went to Kino at Liang Court. It's quite..secluded.-.-" And it's not very well stocked either. Compared to the outlet at Taka at least. But it does have a very large Japanese section, especially when it comes to magazines and serious looking books. However.. it has extremely few photobooks. Like. Extremely few. -.-" But yay! There was Meidi-Ya as well!!! =D I bought my senbei! I love senbei. It makes me feel like I'm eating something that is less fattening that usual because it's like.. urhm.. You know. Not fried. =D Hehe. And there's the added bonus of it not being particularly expensive.

Thanks Joyce!!! =D

Wee! Wanted to go ice-skating at first.. But they were going to use the place for ice hockey so it wasn't accepting new skaters. Then I was all reluctant to go into the arcade because well. School uniform! xP So we finally chose bowling. Or rather.. Vivienne chose it.^_^ Her birthday after all. Heh.

Went to The Chevrons bowling alley to well..bowl. It was rather crowded. Some kind of company event? O well. It was quite retarded. Haha. I have to say! Jiamin was pretty good for someone who claims to have not bowled since primary school!!! Haha.=P had many gutterballs.xP But it was fun anyway.=P The names kept changing! =P Ok. Not really kept changing per se.. But yes.=P It all started off with "Jin, Gackt, Boris and Keitarina"! =P Prizes if you can guess which name refers to who!!! Haha. And as you can see in the album.. Almost everything had changed by the end of the game.^_^"

Hope you had a great birthday vivion! =D

Hmm. Now. *ahem* Allow me to squeal just a little over Gackt's Diabolos Tour Document Book. ^_^ It's really pretty. The main book itself is a slip-on cover thing that's made of really heavy tracing paper so you can see through to the design below. =) The front cover is a gold coffin with a cross in the center.=) They are in gold and lined in shiny gold. The book is filled with pages and pages of non-stop pictures of Gackt and gang, occasionally interspersed by text that includes an interview as well as what I think are overviews of the concert preparation and stuff like that. The first bit has photoshoot-style pictures while much of the rest include the concert photographs, backstage photographs and photographs of them doing stupid things while wandering around Japan! =P They also included a few pictures from the Korean tour and of Gackt exercising. Hehe. I really don't like the cornrows though. xP And god. Gackt's so damn immature. -.-" For someone who claims to be 500+ years old, he isn't exactly above scrawling rude messages on his own Diabolos poster thingum. -.-" But he looks utterly cute and hilarious in the U+K cat costume!! Ahaha. Sadly, because UV helps to produce his tour books, there are some photos from UV in the book as well. But no complaints whatsoever! =P It's pretty and it's well produced.. My only complaint would be that there aren't enough gorgeous photoshoots. And I still love the photoshoot from the Sixth Day & Seventh Night tour pamphlet.*squeals!*

Sigh. Where's the DVD, Yesasia? Where! xP

O yes. And besides the unreliable service stated above, *glares upwards* Wendy has been wonderfully kind once again!!! =D Hyde's Roentgen! =D =D =D Yay! Thank you Wendy! ^_^ Hyde really can sing. And such..emotive tracks too! =)

cheers

Hello

Happy Birthday Boorendaaaaa!!! xD

And I didn't forget!! xP If not.. You wouldn't have received anything at all!!! Haha. =P

And sorry for not fulfilling the promise to go clubbing for the first time together..=X I deeply apologise. You can tell me all about it!!! xD And.. Look at statement below.

Debate is spoiling all my plans. Like. ALL my plans. =(

Have I mentioned how I love Toblerone? Toblerone is to me as Kit Kat is to Jiamin and M&M's are to Vivion and urhm.. Milo Bars are to Zeelei! =P Yay for Toblerone!!! I ate one bar in tuition.. Sitting there feeling the chocolate melt in your mouth and the sweet honey and almond nougat lingering on your tongue while doing math is really quite indulgent. And.. I got some free samples for Neuhaus!! O gosh. It was really yummy.xD A chocolate day! ^_^ Not the best time obviously since NAPFA is coming up. But well.. It's chocolate! How could anyone resist?

I did quite a bit of math in tuition! Well. I finished one tutorial at least. And started on another worksheet. *beams at self* It's a great accomplishment for a notorious tortoise when it comes to math. O.o Not something to be proud of surely. But well.. ^_^" Must accept one's flaws.

Just read about the Minamata Disease in Japan. It's basically mercury poisoning that causes neurological problems and many people in Japan got it because of the contamintated seafood they consumed. The fish were contaminated because of the industrial wastes dumped into the sea in that area. You see how important it is to try and save the environment from such irresponsible behaviour? The effects are just..disturbing. O.o Birth defects.. Damage to vision and hearing.. Even paralysis and death. Not only did people suffer though. The animals suffered too, showing similar symptoms as the human victims.

And to think we're encouraged to eat fish!! Sigh. Everything now is completely polluted by chemicals. This whole kill-the-earth-because-we're-profit-motivated strategy is certainly working. I don't know why people would rather look at things with such a narrow perspective instead of thinking about the long term consequences. Like, "o yay! We're earning a profit! Who cares about the environment?" And now that they've realised their mistake, instead of just trying to stop it from spreading, they are just creating new chemicals and all that to try and rectify the situation. Maybe if everyone just turned back to organic, self-subsistence farming we'd all be good.

But then again. I don't relish the thought of hanging out in the padi fields the whole day to get more yummylicious rice. So perhaps the capitalism thing is slightly useful after all..

O gosh. I'm in such a lazy mode right now. How am I ever going to get a move on and go study? It's not as if it's that difficult to pick up my notes to read. I guess the most difficult part would be the whole, "getting stuff into brain" thing. xP And that's basically what studying's about right? Remembering things? Knowing things well enough to rattle away in an essay? *nods* The only thing I could do now is read, sleep or do anything but study. I could feel all the energy just drain out of my brain as tuition edged towards its end. And so now it's still dead.. xP I really should go sleep. Sigh.

Get well soon Jiamin! xD

Debate. *sigh* Set-up. *sigh* Kino sale. *sigh*

cheers

For some reason. The Siam Shade song just started randomly playing in my head. I haven't thought about it in quite a while. But everytime I hear it.. =) I love the guitar solo starting which remains as a kind of.. urhm.. background music thing? Yea.^_^ Reminds me of Ruruoni Kenshin everytime I hear it.. [because it's one of the ending song. heh.]

Heyy

Had a talk on University choices, courses and future careers today. I realised that it really was quite useful since I'm not quite sure what to look for when I go to websites and read about the universities. It's like.. I just check out the general information but I don't specifically look for stuff. So it was rather useful.=)

Hrm. Going to see my dad's psychologist friend this weekend to ask about how it's like. But thinking about it.. I don't know. It hardly seems like something I want to pursue as a career. Even as an industrial psychologist. Besides.. you hardly see that here. The NUS guy for example was all O.o at me when I asked about it. Like. DUDE. You're studying it! He's supposed to know more than me. But I did ask him about employability and gosh did he look relieved. Like, YES! I know what to say!!! -.-" Idiot.

Ahaha. This video clip is so cute! xD

http://newgrounds.com/portal/view/164193

It's a parody on Final Fantasy and features amateurishly adorable characters. =D Called Final Fantasy A+, it's a very cute story told in Japanese with English subtitles.=D Go watch it!

AC's track meet was today. Boy. I haven't had so much fun before hanging out on a rainy, humid day on the muddy field to see what the race placings are. I mean, it was such a useful way to spend an afternoon in school. Besides, I haven't allowed my brain to vegetate to the extent that I'm sleepy in such a long time. So that's one useful thing I suppose. Plus watching people partake in such strenous physical activity has to be one of those must-do things in life. The teacher's race was hilarious though. I couldn't stop breaking out in random fits of laughter. Particularly at one blob on the track. =P

I suppose it could have been worse. Like how they would cancel it and make us stay back on another day. When we could be.. oh you know. Studying or something. O.o

Just saw this video clip of the anime X by CLAMP with a song by X Japan!! O my. The anime looks highly appealing. Alright. So.. the comics do seem to be developing quite well [though I'm only on the what.. 2nd book?] but I do think that comics can't quite beat anime in terms of drama. There's just something about the animation in anime that lends a certain.. I don't know..extra something to the storyline. However, the same isn't true for movies and books. For example, in movies.. they tend to cut out a lot more and thus, some details from the book are lost. Like in memoirs of a geisha. O my. I loved the book. There were so many little details in the book that were lost in the movie..just like I thought they would be. Because the poetic descriptions he utilised in the book cannot be translated onto screen. I think. Well. With my limited knowledge of movies, it would be difficult to include every single detail. Even The Lord of the Rings had stuff cut out and it was what.. 9+ hours long? So.. I really think books are a far better choice when it comes to choosing between them and Hollywood films.

Of course, this sometimes applies to anime, especially if the creator wishes to remove certain parts from the anime because it's too explicit, or doesn't flow well..or..any other various reasons. Or if the manga carries on the story whereas the anime stops at a certain section. Plus, sometimes anime can be rather inconsistent. Like how some of the Kenshin episodes are so freaking ugly. xP Hideous creatures on screen in a strange parody of the real thing.=S But anyhoo.. The terrible part of this sad tale is that X is really old. Like..early 90s kind of old. So the chances of the anime being available are really slim. =( O sadness.

O dear. I've just wasted the entire evening. O well. At least I finished one SEA essay during Econs. ^_^" Heh. Hardly enough I would say but.. it's also better than nothing. Particularly since I could have spent a meaningful afternoon in tuition doing P&C instead of hanging around without purpose on the field..

Anyway. I have my new stack of magazines to finish! Went through seventeen and Simply Her really quickly. Simply Her only has simple recipes to look at and hardly anything else unless one is looking for household tips or people selling off their branded stuff. seventeen is just..terrible. Although I did think the photoshoots in this issue weren't as crap as usual. I have no comment on the articles. They are just.. O.o Currently on Female right now. Female, Her World and Harper's Bazaar make a satisfyingly thick stack of fashion to go through at one's leisure. ^_^ Then I have Appetite as well! The food pictures aren't particularly droolworthy yet but.. I'm hopeful.^_^" Heh. Donna Hay and Gourmet still win hands-down for fabulous food photography. *sighs wistfully* So yes. I love the end of the month. It always means a new thick stack of magazines to slowly browse through! Not that I can afford anything.. But you know. Heh. One can always covet stuff. ^_^"

So yes. Should run. Vegetation in brain is threatening to spill out of my ears if I don't sleep. O.o
cheers

Hello

Sorry Keitarina.. There's just one more thing I have to add..[and another..and another..and..xP]

I finally finished the Gackt Surprise Party video on the Sixth Day Seventh Night DVD. And o gosh. O GOSH. Sorry. Maybe I'm easily taken in.. But it was so sweet. Like. Really. *does SMAP video thing and puts hand to heart*

The dedication the girl [Yoshimi if I'm not wrong..] showed towards fulfilling her dream, which was to be one of the U+K cats during Gackt's concert, was absolutely amazing. I mean, she got scolded so many times and they pushed her so hard. She injured her leg and then after that.. She kept crying. But still, she pushed on to fulfil her dream. And then as the concert drew nearer, you could see that she was beginning to get a bit more upbeat about everything. However, on rehearsal day, she was late and my god. She go scolded so badly!!! I felt so sad for her. Okay. I obviously didn't understand a word they said but you know. You get the general idea.xP

But I think the most painful thing for her was to get scolded by Gackt himself when she didn't know the movements to one part of the "dance" because that was like.. a variation done only during this concert and they hadn't briefed her on how to react/respond. He was literally yelling into the mic. Okay. Maybe he was just talking very loudly. But due to my inability to understand what he was saying, he really sounded pissed. And Yosh, the leader, had to answer for her. You could practically see the tears threatening to course down her cheeks.

But on the day of the concert ['Live' as they like to call it..] she did perfectly and even got to hug Gackt [albeit through that lumpy costume..] on stage! =D I felt so happy for her. I mean.. Her dream came true!!! And before the concert started, Gackt hugged her too to give her encouragement to do well during the concert itself. ^_^ And after the concert, she had fallen asleep on the table in the dressing room because she was so tired. When she was woken up by Yosh, he presented her with an autographed copy of the absolutely gorgeous pamphlet from the tour. [I have the pictures. Trust me. Gorgeous.xD] She was so happy!!! And then when she went to look at the stage being taken apart by the crew, Gackt [and his retinue] came up to her and had this conversation with her in very difficult and fast Japanese. Not a single word I recognised. [Ok. Maybe I recognised one or two. But it certainly wasn't enough to string his sentences together..] And then.. He hugged her again!!! She was so absolutely happy. And Gackt knew it. So cute! =) The look of joy on her face.. really. Indescribable.

Right at the end of the video, they played Kimi no Tameni Dekiru Koto and did a clip of scenes from the video. It was so sweet!!! =) And right at the end, they zoomed in on the words Gackt wrote to her on the tour pamphlet. [Ok. He might have just written it as encouragement to a fan but not specifically her but hello?! Work with me here. Work with me!]

He wrote in English:
"If you put your mind to it.
You could accomplish anything.
Gackt"

And the song Kimi no Tameni Dekiru Koto literally means.. What I Can Do For You.=)

I guess from all this.. I kind of learned about really having dedication for something. Not specifically G-man of course. But.. in general. If you set your heart on something.. I'm sure that no matter what, as long as you are determined enough and you work towards your goal, you will be able to achieve or accomplish it. It's really about having the resolution to accomplish what you want to achieve. It's all rather inspiring though it's not as if I don't know it. Sometimes.. I think that even though these things are really really really cliched, they serve as a form of reminder.. For something so obvious that you have forgotten it.

Sorry Jiamin.. I really couldn't help blogging about this..=X

ps: I think the Kit Kat Chunky is too sweet. xP Must be all that rich chocolate. I still prefer the slim bars of normal Kit Kat. =) And Kinder Bueno.. And Dove Amicelli.. And Toblerone.. And Gianduja.. xD

pps: Gackt is the original Mean-Boss. Argh. He's so scary. Mr Perfectionist..

update!
According to resident expert Wendy.. [allow me to quote her tag]
wendaye: ummm she hugged Gackt on stage because she screwed up her dance step and she used that to cover up! ahahaha. oh and Gackt was screaming asking why Yoshimi-chan was out of position yup

Now we know. =D At least she took the opportunity to gain something out of forgetting her step. ;) And.. You see how Gackt's a perfectionist? I told you. He's one hell of a scary boss. O.o

wendaye: *spams* Gackt was asking her at the end of everything if she had fulfilled her dream, etcetc and whether or not she enjoyed it; basically he was being sweet & nice & inspirational : )

Turn of events!!! Haha.. But you know. I have this feeling even if he didn't talk to her about it.. She would still have been happy because she managed to fulfill her dream. "sweet & nice & inspirational".. Hmm. Yes. He does seem to portray this side of himself to the fans I noticed.. Especially after mumbling all those encouraging words into the mic during the concert which sent the fans into floods pouring down their cheeks smiling their hearts out. =) The whole "we'll always be behind you" thing was just.. awwww.^_^

hello

Oh the magic of FaceBook! xD Hehe. My brother has made friends with this Russian girl in U Mich who loves travelling and jrock. Like, ooh! xD So I made him check for me who she likes and..omigosh! She loves Gackt, Malice Mizer and Laruku!!! xD xD xD I was like, you have to be friends with her. Like.. NOW. *nods* And I read online about this jrock store in Ann Arbor as well. Like.. YAY! Haha. I dropped very unsubtle hints and he kinda rolled his eyes at me and just went "I'll introduce you if you come to Ann Arbor to study." -_- Like..dude.-.-"

Anyway.

Must Announce great news!!! xD KINOKUNIYA 20% OFF FOR CARDHOLDERS ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY!!! *squeals!* You have no idea how much I love kino. Like..really. I love that place. I used to love it because I loved being around books. I still have that feeling everytime I go there but now.. There's an added incentive. ;) Heh. I'm sure everyone can guess it anyway. It doesn't exactly require much brainpower..

So yes. 20% discount!!! xD xD xD Yay! I'm so glad I didn't buy the photobook the other day or I'd just be kicking myself for being so utterly impatient. *beams* The one time patience pays off. Yay! 20% off!!! The phrase just kept floating through my mind today after Jiamin shared the good news. Haha.=P Oh the wonders of a Kino card.xD

This video is beyond cute!

It features all these clever contraptions made in Japan. ^_^ The music is really cute too. Heh.

A Poison Tree

I was angry with my friend:
I told my wrath, my wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe:
I told it not, my wrath did grow.

And I watered it in fears,
Night and morning with my tears;
And I sunned it with smiles,
And with soft deceitful wiles.

And it grew both day and night,
Till it bore an apple bright.
And my foe beheld it shine.
And he knew that it was mine,

And into my garden stole
When the night had veiled the pole;
In the morning glad I see
My foe outstretched beneath the tree.

William Blake

I love this poem! It has rather simple diction but ohh.. One can relate to it..almost.=P

As a break from all this almost intellectual poetry..

One Being Brought From Africa To America

'TWAS mercy brought me from my Pagan land,
Taught my benighted soul to understand
That there's a God, that there's a Saviour too:
Once I redemption neither sought now knew,
Some view our sable race with scornful eye,
'Their colour is a diabolic die.'
Remember, Christians, Negroes, black as Cain,
May be refin'd, and join th' angelic train.

Phillis Wheatley

It has such..colonial overtones. xP Tsk. But then again.. It does mention the Negroes being saved? Or something like that.O.o

Wee! Shall go indulge in more concert DVD joy. *beams*

Hello

It's raining! Like.. really heavily! xP

Strangely enough, Glamorous Sky by Nakashima Mika and Syunikiss by Malice Mizer seem perfect for the weather. Don't ask me why. Especially Syunikiss which I was listening to as I was pelted from all directions by the rain and the wind which threatened to lift my umbrella out of my hands..-.-" I do hope Jiamin and Zeelei aren't stuck in the rain though. xP Vivion too.

Labour Day weekend is coming. Thankfully. xP I seem to live for the next weekend every week. At least, it's something to look forward to.=)

Educated J-rock fan
Congratulations! You scored 76%!

Congrats! You've shown that you know your stuff, but like any normal person you don't go crazy over what bands to memorize the songs to and what indie bands are coming out the second they release a single in Japan. You have good taste in music, and you have a life. Good job.

O.o Educated? Me? O.o Guessed my way through the entire lyrics section except for.. one question.O.o So..first-time lucky? ._.

GACKT should suit you!
Take this
quiz!

I wonder what Jiamin would get..O.o The Miyavi picture is pretty.. It's my favourite chain one.xD *beams*

How cute! On the jrock_bdays community on livejournal, they are starting this make a present for Gackt thing! How utterly adorable. Apparently, they are putting together a DVD full of stuff from his Dears. =) So sweet! And his birthday is in July! I can't believe they are planning it so early. O.o I guess the rabid fangirlness never ends..

O well. Must run. I have an essay to complete.xP
cheers

omigosh! You must watch this!!

So cute! (link)

xD Hyde is so cute. Honestly! It's so adorably funny. Hahahaha.=D

At Popular today, I got an extension USB port. Finally. My dad refused to get the Bluetooth connector for me though. My brother was going on and on about how useless it'd be.-.-" Sigh. He did however, say he'll look for his phone's USB plug-in and hopefully it'll work on my phone.=) Wee! If it works..GACKT SONGS! *beams*

I was just reminded while blog-surfing that Gackt had barely recovered from pneumonia when he went on the Requiem et Reminiscence tour. [Apparently. He wrote a lot of Rebirth in hospital. Maybe that's what inspired that strange starting video during the tour.O.o] He wasn't all dying [can't breathe, etc.] like the Sixth Day & Seventh Night tour though. O.o I won't get all teary and wail that he doesn't take care of himself.. I guess dedication to something can make people do things beyond their own capabilities. I wonder though.. if his voice was incredible even when he wasn't well.. what it'd be like if he was. He wasn't well through the R & R tour and the 6th day 7th night tour as well apparently. Pneumonia!!! How the hell did he sing??? O.o

Darnnn. I have no idea how to annotate the damn poem!!! I just keep getting stuck. =( Wails.

One of the special cards they included with the first-press single for Another World. Look at Gackt's signature. Is it not a scream?

Hello

*yawwn* I'm so sleepy. Just returned from lunch at Chef Chan's. Same old stuff. But it was yummy anyway. I loved the har gao. And the belly pork. And the orange-soaked melon was particularly good today. As was the egg tart. But I also loved the veggies.=D *beams*

After Burn the Floor last night, I did the crazy thing and watched the Gackt concert. O.o *bonks self* I must be mad. But at least I didn't watch the whole thing.. I just finished the concert segment and I've left the special additions for another night.. ^_^ Taken on Jiamin's advice, I realised that this would certainly maximise the concert. Yay! Haha. Before I bore you with details of the concert..

In response to Wendy's tag.. OMG! I WOULD LOVE HYDE'S ROENTGEN!!! xD xD xD Haha. =P Sorry. AHEM. You see. I'm trying to download the 2 albums [the english one and the japanese one] from bittorrent and god it's slow. There usually isn't anyone to download from.. If not there'll only be one person. -.-" Pathetic. It's barely made a dent in my computer's memory space so stopping the download now wouldn't make me cry with pain. Hehe. I hope that's enough of a hint. If it isn't.. I've got blank CDs lying around and their greatest ambition is to hold Roentgen!!! xD

The Gackt forum is down. I'll never be able to find out where To Feel The Fire is from. -.-" I have this strong feeling it's from that Beer ad. The first one he did. But one can never be sure.. Besides. Why would someone record an entire song just to use like..10 seconds of it in the ad? O.o Extremely weird. But it's possible. Knowing how weird Gackt is..-.-" You know.. I remember seeing this photoshoot he did where he styled everything. But for the life of me.. I can't remember where I saw it, or where it's from. And since I was surfing it on my dad's laptop.. I didn't download the images. And I can't remember how to get to them now. (T_T) Sigh.

Anyway. Prepare yourself! I am now launching into boring you with details about the Gackt concert! xD

Gackt's Requiem et Reminiscence was dominated by rock songs in the 1st 2 missions of the concert. [The concert is divided up into "missions". Possibly it reflects the military-style thing he's trying to do? Anyway..] And it begins with a movie which was quite disturbing. They were literally "creating" Gackt from what I presume is a dead body since they kept hopping over to the graveyard outside [presumably] the lab and military building to film a tombstone with the word "Gackt" on it and years [I think I remember seeing a 1944 - does that explain the Nazi-ish costume?]. The content itself wasn't disturbing [this is coming from someone who found Illuminati's video disturbing but not Beast of Blood.] but the way it was shot lent a rather creepy feel overall. I don't quite get it's connection with the 2nd movie though it seems rather.. Final Fantasy-ish. You know. Like in Advent Children.. About taking revenge on those who created you because you were simply created with one purpose - to serve them and no thought about your welfare. Something like that. The second movie ended with a twist that made me start laughing. Haha.=P

I knew none of the songs from the 1st mission but enjoyed every one of them. I can't quite describe them to you right now but I loved how they were all very rock. =D Except Sayonara that is. ^_^" It was a piano piece with You playing the violin right at the end. And it was so Gackt-wanting-to-die-as-usual. Haha.=P Lots of that actually. It can be quite funny if one wasn't so well..into the concert.^_^" I ended up embarrassing myself in my own room by squealing away with the audience. But it was terribly cool!!! xD xD xD And I think Gackt looks really good in military uniform. xD I didn't like the shoes though.. So Malice Mizer-esque if you ask me.. The ubiquitous platform boots. --" Like they aren't tall enough already. Anyway. The costume was rather Nazi-ish, complete with a red armband. The wonderful cameraman [I love his filmcrew.xD] kept zooming into Gackt to give us details of his outfit: Along the wrist area, the words: "Requiem et Reminiscence" were embroidered and he had some.. badge thing at the collar if I'm not wrong. Plus the red arm band? Like we wouldn't know who the costume designer was referencing.. -.-" It was nice though. It fit him to a T and made him look really smart. [As in..Uniform smart. Not Book smart. -.-"] The end of the 1st mission was rather dramatic as he stood at the center of the stage with You playing the violin when a girl abruptly appeared and "shot" him, upon which he disappeared in a puff of smoke and she sank to her feet. All this drama and theatrics makes me wonder why he isn't that more of a better actor..

The 2nd mission began with Masa playing the main melody from the start of the song Secret Garden. [This song, along with Kimi Tame, was my first foray into Gackt-land.] He was very soon joined by an enthusiastic Chacha and You. ^_^ Masa was so cute!!! Haha. He looked like a little kid concentrating very hard on his guitar. =P Plus, he isn't all that tall. Heh. Anyway. I loved how they got the 3 guitarists to play though I thought it went on just a teensy bit long at first, but I loved it the 2nd time I saw it. I think Chacha is rather good at the guitar though I'm no expert so don't trust me on it. [Random fact: Apparently, Chacha has a pretty high singing voice! *chokes with laughter* Suits his hair though. Haha.] As the stage darkens on the 3 guitarists, Gackt appears with a bang in a new outfit!!! Oh my gosh. I loved it.xD It was this long black coat with glittery stuff on the sleeves along the elbow area. *squee!* [He's always in long-sleeved clothing at his concerts I realised. Except in Mars. During the Yaoi bit.xD] He then starts singing Secret Garden. Which I was happily singing along to. =X Heh. Of course.. I can't remember all of the lyrics but well you know. Ahem. Yes. Anyway.. he moved quickly on into the next 2 songs that I'd never heard before. But they were nice! ^_^ Rock-ish! I liked Cube especially. Kalmia, if I'm not wrong, is from his Mizerable album. [Which should arrive in a month if bloody Yesasia will quit hating us.] I loved seki-ray of course.=D It had a different arrangement from the video and from The Sixth Day & Seventh Night tour. =D You know how he pauses before launching into the more heavily-rock chorus? xD Dramatic pause I tell you. Dramatic.

Up next was the video which connected to the first. This was a bit random. I have no idea what point he's trying to make. But the last part was absolutely hilarious. And oh-so-cute! xD Plus it had Gackt in that bondage position with a lady whipping him. Tsk tsk. So suggestive.=P [It wasn't though. When you look at the context of the situation. Haha.]

Spoiler Alert!

At the beginning of the 3rd mission, Gackt springs out from below the stage to the screams of many many many fangirls. It's quite cool actually. Then he remains motionless on the stage which makes me think that he was a statue in a past life. A Greek statue.xD [Chiselled good looks and all that? *goes to one side to fangirl* Ahem.xD] As the curtain thing behind him raises, 2 U+K cats appear!!! Haha. So cute. They proceed to lift him as he remains in that statue position [see what I mean about him being weird?] and then they plant him beside Masa who pokes him. Hahaha. He pokes Masa back and he springs back in this huge shock thing. Then the cutest funniest part occurs!! HAHA.=P The 2 U+K cats have planted themselves in the center of the stage pointing in one direction. So Gackt tries to lower one of their arms. When he moves to the next cat to do the same thing, the first cat's arm springs back up again. I know. It's pretty lame. But bear with me. Then Gackt tries to hold both their arms down and he gets that "OMG I want to laugh. But I can't! I have to look COOL!" look on his face. AHAHA.=P I think that expression is very cute. Haha. Then he gets into the funniest position ever to try and lower their arms. My god!! His butt! Poking to one side!! AHAHA. So hilarious. I was laughing and trying to keep it down for fear my mom would walk in and kill me. =P The song soon begins after I'm done convulsing with laughter in one corner.

The typical U+K dance starts with Gackt hopping about stage like a child. And boy did he look like a kid in his favourite orange tracksuit!!! His costume consisted of this silver and orange zip-up jacket and baggy orange pants along with shoes that looked like skate shoes. GASP. [I read one girl's blog.. After she saw the concert in Japan, she immediately went out the next day to the same store that does Gackt's costumes to buy the jacket.O.o madness.] He looked like such a child in it!!! Haha. Anyway. He was hopping about happily through U+K. Including the NYA NYA! part. Although it was rather short in this tour.=S Anyway.. His white guitar called Venus made an appearance in the 2nd song and omigosh!!! It was during Mirror that AHH!!! xD You see. You was playing the violin but there was one bit where he didn't have to play so he went over to Gackt and put his arm around his neck. Omigosh. I was hopping up and down hoping they'd do something. But he just clung on to Gackt who was singing and playing the guitar. Hrmph. If he wasn't singing, they would have kissed. HRMPH. Gackt did th dance during Papa lapped a pap lopped again. Haha. He really doesn't look all that bad during choreographed dances but when it comes to his own choreography..HRM. =P Haha. He bounced about and danced around throughout. Sobered up a little during Kimi no Tameni Dekiru Koto and delivered it well.=D *beams* [Was singing along but had a bit of trouble with the high notes. Coughing too much.O.o] During this song he also zipped up the jacket. =P [The jacket was open before this thanks to vigorous hopping around.] I realised that when he sings these happy songs, his voice changes so it gives the song a whole different atmosphere.=) Yay!

I loved this mission because it was so happy and everything.=) Provided the perfect time for one to squeal with excitment. ^_^" Heh.

The last mission only had one ending song. ^_^ Gackt appeared in a black shirt with a red tie and high-waisted black pants. I wasn't so hot on the pants but I guess it suits that military thing they had going on there. I loved it as usual.=) Though I do wish he would choose another song to end his concerts. Heh. I love story anyway. It's a very..touching song. ^_^ They kept splicing scenes from the preparations for the concert when he was singing. ^_^ So cute.

Track Listing for the -Last Mission-
Saikai~Story~

The ending credits were done in utter silence causing me to nod off occasionally. ^_^" Heh. But I really enjoyed the concert.=D Must watch it in full one day soon. And not so late at night. O.o

I've left the specials for another day.=) Apparently, it includes the making of Rebirth. Ooh. Too bad it won't have Gackt dressing up as a U+K Kitty like in Diabolos. Hahahaha. Adorable.xD

And that's my take on the concert. Sorry for lack of details and analysis of songs. I would love for someone to watch it with. It seems like watching it with other people makes it a whole lot more fun! Haha.=P

cheers

"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don't much care where -" said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go," said the Cat.
"- so long as I get somewhere," Alice added as an explanation.
"Oh, you're sure to do that," said the Cat, "if you only walk long enough."

Would you like to dance with me?

I bet that was the tagline of Burn the Floor because it was repeated throughout the show during the dance segments.=) It was so enjoyable!!! Alright. It was rather gimmicky. You've got to admit that. But I enjoyed it anyway. [Ain't I the perfect member of the audience? ^_^]

The dancing was fabulous. It was really very much concentrated in the area of ballroom dance to include both Standard and Latin. [In case you've forgotten, Standard Ballroom is made up of 5 dances: Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz and Tango and Latin is also made up of 5 dances: Samba, Paso Doble, Cha Cha Cha, Jive and Rumba.] It was very much jazzed up though I thought the dancers had rather good technique. Of course, it helped that they had really nice costumes. And really hot bodies. [omigosh.. I tell you.. I was so jealous of the girls. Sigh.]

Being such a biased person, I really really really loved the sections with Standard Ballroom dances. I loved the main dancer and I discovered by staring at her features that well.. She's actually kinda old. But o my goodness. I love love love her back. Her back is gorgeous. Seriously. And she wore this absolutely stunning floor-length white dress with a huge black glittery flower embroidered on the side with black elbow-length gloves for one the dances. So elegant. So beautiful. And it exposed her entire back. Which was gorgeous. The way she leaned back when dancing was so natural. She looked so comfortable doing all that. And her partner's profile was so so so goodlooking. Ahem. He wasn't very goodlooking from the front but profile.. ahh.xD

3 pairs caught my eye. One was Ms Ballroom and Partner as described above. And the other two were Latin dancers [at least, I assume they are because well.. they weren't very good at the Standard bits.^_^" heh.] who could seriously shake their butts. [Speaking of shaking butts..there was this one segment where 5 rather hot men were topless and dancing provocatively on stage. And all I could think of was: "O my! Jin! Kame! Doing that! *drools*" Reaction = -_-"] My gosh. I loved the way they did the Latin dances. xD Brilliant stuff man! Haha. I know nothing about technique however. So don't trust me on it. I can only speak from a know-nothing's point of view though I do believe they have good technique since I have this feeling most of them have professionally competed before.

The show was all in all very very very enjoyable and the singer was good too! ^_^ A performance worth seeing! However, the music was damn loud. I could literally feel the floor vibrating. And my ears felt just..terrible after the performance. My brother was like "omg. You can't club. It's like.. 10 times louder in a club!!!" O great.

Had the Zero Carbon City debates in school today. Chaired 2 debates. Yawn. It was so boring. So I was entertaining myself in my brain.^_^" Heh. And the image gallery in my phone.. Heh.

On to dinner. We ate at uberburger at Millenia Walk. ^_^ It was yummy! Their hand-cut fries are rather inexpensive for such a huge portion!!! [The 2-handful portion is $4.50 while the single handful is $3.50.] And they are really good. When you get the smaller pieces that is. The large pieces would please Zhilei very much.. They are.. freshly soggy! Haha. Because they are so large I guess they absorb more oil? Anyway. I had the hot dog though I am dying to try their Wagyu burger next time [not the one with foie gras and truffle sauce by the way..]. The hot dog was really good! It was a Chicago-style dog topped with sauerkraut, sour cream and fried onions, served with a side-salad that tasted extremely healthy. The hot dog was fantastic. The bun was really nice and I loved the sauerkraut on top. Of course, I was really expecting the usual kind of hotdog, long and slim. But this was a really fat sausage. The casing snapped when a bit into it - a good sign of course.=D It was terribly messy to eat though. Because the sour cream kept leaking onto my fingers. I practically ran to the washroom after I was done..

On top of all this fat and calories, I had the most sinful thing ever: A Milo Milkshake. O boy. It was really good though I wouldn't order it again. It was far too rich for me, especially after they added Chocolate ice-cream. The chocolate taste, unfortunately, overwhelmed the taste of Milo. They should have done a Milo Dinosaur and dumped powder on top!!! Sigh. But it was so good. xP My dad kept chanting: "5000 calories..5000 calories..5000 calories.." Hrmph. But it was all so delicious.*sigh* Must diet for the rest of the week. Can save money anyway. Heh.

Anyway.. Gackt calls to me from the DVD. So.. I am off. I didn't finish it last night. Was far too sleepy. Though I was really bouncy during the opening and the 1st mission which was full of fantastic rock songs. Shall tell you the track listing first:

But boy did he look good playing the violin. xD And Masa was there too. Masa = good at playing a repeat of this part of one song. Haha.

Hello

Hopefully, I'll be able to type this in a more hurried manner than usual because.. I've got my Gackt's Requiem et Reminiscence Tour to watch!!! xD xD xD

I am so looking forward to it. In order to bore everyone to death with my fangirling, the concert report will come.. SOON! Haha. xD xD xD I will be looking out for fanservicing. Wee!

School today was.. well.. okay I guess. Nothing special to report. Except for some horrendously misogynistic idiots who think guys are ALL THAT. -.-" [I don't know if misogynistic is the right word to use here but..hrm..well.you know.^_^"]

Went to town after that. Mwahaha! I managed to dissaude myself from grabbing one of those extreeeemely tempting copies of the Diabolos Tour Document that are sitting enticingly on the Kinokuniya Shelf. =( Do you know how utterly lovely they look? *sigh* ._. Zhilei did however, buy Kat-Tun! Hopefully there are cute pictures. Then we can all squeal over.. Jin! And Kame! xD Speaking of Jin..

Aww. Look at that smile! How can one resist his charms? [Ok. I probably can. But whatever.] But.. He's rather cute don't you think? xD Plus, all I can think about when I see him is him shaking his hips. *squee!*

And of course.. One cannot forget..

Keita and company! xD Haha. Lots of magazines with W-inds since they just released their new album. I do like Keita's smile though I think he was wayyy cuter as a younger guy as above.*beams* Not that he isn't cute now. Because.. Well.. He still is. Haha.

Journeyed to HMV - Land of Overpriced Japanese CDs, VCDs and DVDs after tearing ourselves away from Kino. [Or maybe it's just me. Because of the tempting Tour Document. *points and sighs*] My goodness! A sign of Kat-Tun's utter popularity with underaged young women is how they are displayed on the chart downstairs!!! Like, oh my goodness! The land of J-Pop [aside from Ayumi and Namie and like.. Every Little Thing.O.o] is unfamiliar! Never in a million years would HMV display Gackt or Miyavi or Hyde or even W-inds downstairs!!! W-inds is [to quote Keitarina] "not mainstream pop" and I do have to admit that they are achieving a rather mature sound these days. But Kat-Tun! It's new to me. xP Haha.

Travelled upwards to Japan Land in HMV. xD The CDs are simply flying off the shelves!! It's amazing. There apparently was a stack of Miyavi CDs not too long ago and there's only one left now!! Like, oh my goodness! And Gackt stuff has disappeared as well!! *gasp* [Speaking of which.. Kino keeps restocking his photo book!! And a new Kimi Ga Oikaketa Yume appeared!! *gasp*] But yes. The shelves are just simply full of Kat-Tun. They are everywhere!!!

They even infiltrated the shop upstairs that sells Japanese Artist Goods. O.o The place was covered in Kat-Tun. Especially Kame [who looked especially fabulous in that handphone advertisement behind the counter..] and Jin. O.o It was almost like a fangirl's room except that there were other artists too! Like.. WaT! And.. W-inds! ^_^ And there were new Miyavi and Gackt pictures. Wee!

Yes. Went back to school and then went for KidsRead. It was okay I guess. There was some kid who was crying because he said shampoo had gotten into this eyes. Sigh. I kept telling him to blink and he was trying to glare at me suspiciously while carrying out the instructions and tearing all the time. Rather cute. Haha. =P

Right. Must proceed to Gackt-dom now. Yay!

I hope I've been obliging enough Keitarina and Jinna! =P If you want to see more pictures.. All you have to do is send me more nice ones!! Haha. =P Or talk about them more.. Or tell me interesting fun facts.. xD

cheers

Hello

The cursed cockroach that has been appearing in my bathroom at night has finally been slaughtered.-.-" STUPID THING. Rawr!

The first thing I chance upon when I go into my room is the cursed creature!!! So I started screaming my head off in a very very unladylike fashion and got my mother's attention. Thank goodness. If it had been my dad or brother, they would have left me to rot with the cockroach.-.-" So yes. My maid comes running up to rescue me from the thing and then she starts laughing at my panic.-_- Utterly embarrassing. I was hiding in the toilet. And then my mom comes along, brandishing this extremely effective anti-cockroach spray which knocks the creature out so you can get rid of it as soon as possible. She sprays it all over my room because we can't find the damned creature. As we start hunting, lo and behold!!! It had fainted!!! It was gotten rid of quickly I can assure you.

So after that, I start eating my dinner when my mom starts lamenting how the cockroach fainted. Like, was she actually sympathising with the damned thing?! I almost died. Cockroaches are DISGUSTING. They don't deserve anyone's pity. HRMPH. But at least I got rescued. And my mom has left the spray in my room so I can get rid of any other disgusting sightings.xP

It's Friday tomorrow! O joy! =D

Bright Star

Bright star, would I were stedfast as thou art--
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night
And watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like nature's patient, sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores,
Or gazing on the new soft-fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors--
No--yet still stedfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,
And so live ever--or else swoon to death.

John Keats

I like his language. Somehow, it seems to convey a lot in one line. =) Of course, in just one reading, I don't understand what the hell he's talking about. But let's just know that it's a nice poem. ^_^

*points excitedly*

Omigosh! Ben & Jerry's! Free Cone Day! 25th April 2006! OOH! xD How absolutely enticing!!! I love Ben & Jerry's. Especially Chocolate Fudge Brownie. O MY GOSH. It's just so so so good and so sinful but you feel so happy eating it!!! xD Yay for Ben & Jerry's!! The saddest thing is that I won't be in the vicinity of any Ben & Jerry's outlet on this whole dratted island during the stated time and I end school so damn late on Tuesday anyway so it really doesn't make any difference. Sigh.

In case any of you can't quite read the words on the image, it says:

Tuesday 25th April 2006
Free Cone Day!
12 noon - 7pm
Great World City #02-40A
United Square #02-K1
Suntec City Mall #02-152
Singapore Zoo
Thank you for a fantastic year!
One cone per person, while stocks last.

It's Friday tomorrow!!! xD

I'm hoping someone will reseed Hyde's Roentgen soon. The download is going so damn slowly for something that's only 100+ MB. Especially when there's only one person I'm leeching from. Sigh. I promise to seed it if they just get more seeders up!!! xP I'm trying to reseed the Hey! Hey! Hey! special but hrm. Somehow.. it just ain't working. O.o I have absolutely no idea how these Bittorrent things work.

HAHA. Reading this hilarious story using X Japan DVD screencaps.xD It's a really long thing with tons and tons of screencaps. But it's really funny so reading it will allow the other images to load!! xD Yoshiki is really pretty. Why? Why did he have to cut his hair?? I mean okay.. early 90s stylists should all be sacked but.. still. *squeals!* And the author of the .. stuff likes hide! Who is like.. someone in X Japan. O.o I do like X Japan songs though.. or at least the ones I got from Jiamin. ^_^" heh. And she keeps making fun of Toshi. But I don't get all the beer jokes with some.. other guy. O.o Pata. Or something. But it's funny anyway! haha. Read it here. [Warning: There are a lot of pictures. Like. A LOT. And coming from me who can download a kazillion G-man pictures in a day, that's saying something.]

The screencaps of Celebration are precious!!! It's too hilarious. Especially "Cinderyoshiki? Or maybe it's Yoshikerella?" AHAHA. And all those shots of him rolling around looking hot and everything? xD Those screencaps have like omg WHATTT! scenes.. Oh.. How I love those video editors.. And how i love fanservice.

[Isn't it generally appealing to see all these really pretty guys? I would say Mana isn't bad if he didn't have such weird lips. O.o But he's got nice eyes! And a fantastic figure..those legs..xD they are generally hidden under his voluminous skirts. Must. Find. Picture. With. Sexy. Legs. NOW. Another one would be Miyavi who is just generally too goodlooking to be true. Yoshiki of course, can look fabulous though a bit on the manly side. But his figure. Phwoar! And gorgeous locks. (Especially Mr Miyavi.) Ooh! But what I really love about most of these guys..are their eyes. *sigh* SO GORGEOUS. xD]

Wee! It's almost Friday!!!

Right. Must try and do something tonight that doesn't involve surfing the net and spending all my time alive here. Though it is appealing.xP

cheers

hello

Caught Kat-Tun on MTV today. Haha. Far clearer than anything on Youtube I tell you.. Was peering at it closely for dear Zhilei. Ooh. I tell you! Jin and Kame are hot stuff man!!! xD Love the way they dance.*beams*

Been reading Alice in Wonderland [I know I know..that isn't the actual title but..-.-"] and it's not a bad story if a bit nonsensical. But I rather think of it as fantasy than nonsense.=) Slowly working my way through it as I get through all the bizarre scenes with Alice acting all.. stupid and bimbotic occasionally. -.-" I mean, if she's meant to be portrayed as this naive person.. Setting her up as this confused individual will not work! Sigh. Anyway, I've gotten to the Duchess. So hopefully things will improve as we've met mr cheshire cat! Haha.

Zhilei gave me this link to this blog by 2 gay boys. O god. Their command of the English language is absolutely horrific. And their "dear"s and "darling"s irritate me to no end. -_- Plus, I've realised that I'm incredibly bad at Singlish.. Because I couldn't understand 90% of the Singlish phrases in Hokkien that they used. O.o I don't know if I should cheer at that or try to rectify the situation. My mom will be pleased.. Not too long ago, she was bemoaning my pathetic command of the language and the use of Singlish. At least she knows I'll never be able to remember all those Hokkien phrases that she thinks are too crude. O.o My brother did try teaching them to me.. It just did not work. Haha. I was like, ?_? half the time. I am utterly useless at Singlish!!! Is that a bad thing? O.o

NAPFA = lost cause. Sigh. I must get a silver. I must!!! Or I'll just never be let off. EVER! And Jiamin! Joyce! You guys too!!!!

Must run. Important things to do. Like.. Homework! And like.. Youtubing.^_^"
cheers
