Hana Yori Dango + Vampire Knights!

O my! I haven't squealed over such rubbish in a while! =D But I'll make this short because I'm DYING to continue reading Vampire Knights [吸血鬼骑士]!!! xD Beams.

Today Jiamin and I finished the whole Season 1 of Hana Yori Dango!!! Sadly, Domoyoji is completely not my type but WAH SO SWEET.xD Haha. And my Chado Man!!! [Nikishado/Nishikado Soujiro or something?] AHHH SO CUTE!!! xD xD xD Another PERFECT gentleman, kind... elegant... rich... smart... always the one trying to calm people down... xD xD xD And how can I forget Hanazawa Rui and Akira! xD Beams!

It's another cheesy love story but come on.. Admit it! Girls can never get enough of cheesy love stories [though I kept irritating Jiamin by groaning at all the LAME and CHEESY lines.-_-"] and sweet moments with hot guys involved!!! xD Haha. Beams!

Sorry, it is SUCH fun to squeal with someone else over EVERY sweet moment and EVERY scene with a hot guy, I will never want to watch teen idol dramas alone ever again! It just isn't as fun [though it's most certainly entertaining]. It's also much more fun to groan and grumble over stupidity, cheesiness and irritating girls.xD Haha.

Omg! JIAMIN WE MUST FIND THE NEXT BIG NICE TO WATCH DRAMA! And no. I refuse to watch any Korean dramas. The dragginess just KILLS me.-_-" And then I lose interest? And then it kind of dies. Haha. Maybe we should watch your Hong Kong drama next! =D

Oh. And The Departed. And Infernal Affairs! And the rest of Desperate Housewives Season 2! [I'm almost done with Season 1!] And... What else is there to watch. HMM. Anime! =D Haha.

Sorry Joyce but I really don't like Korean dramas. Even Kim Sam Soon, the show everyone likes, just kinda killed me at the end. It got draggy and omygosh OKAY MOVE ON NOW. I finished it because I couldn't stand to leave it hanging.=P I liked Da Chang Jin though.=X And you HAVE to watch King & the Clown! It is SO SWEET at the end! =D Haha. And Lee Joon-Ki is SUPER pretty in the show. The storyline is also quite engaging.=D

Now, allow me to SQUEAL madly over Vampire Knights. It's got hot guys, the random girl, a relatively interesting plot [hello, it involves vampires. Which is a good thing in my book anyday!], sweet moments that make you melt and die of happiness and finally, it's quite engaging.=D Haha. Oh the love! Beams.

And the drawing is pretty though I still love CLAMP male characters.xD O faints. EVERY CLAMP character is good looking!!! xD Still, these guys are so goodlooking. Haha.

Today, I passed my Final Theory Test! And I was all set to book the practical test date but... I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT. I almost fainted. Haha. Of ALL times to happen.-_-" Geez. Anyway, the earliest test dates they have are 4 days at the start of August so I'm just going to grab any slot I can.=)

We also ate at the Greenwood Fish Market! =D We're waiting for my darling brother to return so I can finally polish off my very own lobster!!! xD

I cannot WAIT for Kino to bring this in!!! =D Kino!!! MUST VISIT IT SOON!!! xD Oh alice nine. *pats magazine* you look SO good on the cover! And inside! xD

O Gackt. Where have you disappeared to? *sigh*

O well. Back to the manga! O GOSH. I don't want it to end! Like Tsubasa! Which is carrying on into yet another depressing and sad BUT SO SWEET manga like X/1999 [which is also very nice to read.xD]. Beams. I love manga. With so little time these days, they are much easier to read in gaps of time compared to proper books..

The 5 Stages of Dying

Hello

Today I was reading the advertisement by the Singapore Hospice Council and it lists Elizabeth Kubler-Ross's 5 stages of dying. Trust me. It's both depressing and snaps you into the reality of your upcoming death [one day... it WILL happen.-_-"].

Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance

I don't think it applies only to dying.. I think these 5 stages actually occur in a lot of other situations like if someone dumps you or something heartbreaking like that. Hmm.

So today I was much busier helping them prepare stuff for submission to competitions and the like.^_^" And I had to research stuff too! AGAIN! Oh. And then I was merrily surfing around DeviantArt.=)

Isn't it morbidly funny? =P It is also ironic and... Strange.

And isn't this SO CUTE? xD

And this is pretty! And cute.=) And sweet too!

I know. All are drawings, none are photographs. But o well.^_^

Today, they showed me this booklet thingy they put together to present to the client. It was SO well done. I swear, I was practically INSPIRED by the sense of accomplishment one would feel when looking at the put-together package [after slogging hard for 3 days with no sleep apparently, and that's not even an exaggeration]. But it was simply.. a touch of brilliant marketing. Honestly. And they even added an extra touch that tied in perfectly with the client. ;) Yet, it still blended in with the overall package. Seriously. I was very impressed.xD

And looking at the work they have done, kind of like a collection of the work done in the past year, I was like.. when I saw those, I liked EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM! xD So yes. I was inspired. Again. Haha.=X

And then it made me think of how proud you could be to present these brilliant ideas to your clients! Although the clients can be very demanding. Like calling every 15 minutes or something [trust me. I know. I have to pick up the phone ALL THE TIME.] to ... I don't know. Discuss something of DEATHLY importance.

So I must say that I think I would enjoy the work they do. I don't think I'll hate it except that it gets repetitive.. But then again. Which job isn't repetitive? The pay though... The pay is a fabulous disincentive to work in this industry and the long hours.. Thankless work you put in is even more reason to avoid it like the plague.

Working in a bank would induce boredom and repetitiveness as well but hey.. At least you get better pay right?

I think I'll relook career options once I finish this internship. I think 3 months should be enough to help me see if this is what I want to do.. I hope. If I still am not sure.. Hmm. That could be troubling indeed.

I always wish I were creative and good at designing and drawing though. That's something I'd like to do but cannot EVER do. O well.=) Dealing with clients can be *cough* fun too!

Stress Cure: Flowers

Hello!

=D Today all of us got a flower from my friend at work [not my seat-partner, someone else.^_^] and she told me that whenever she's stressed out, she'll give away flowers! ^_^ I cannot think of a sweeter, more random gesture from a friend. Haha.

In other work-related rubbish...

As Jiamin aptly pointed out, I'm also getting very well-acquainted with the office scanner. I mean, seriously. The number of hours I spend with that machine is comparable to no one else.-_-" Since it is a multi-function machine, I am also forced to spend even more time than just scanning since it can photocopy, print and.. gets me to go around asking them where I can help in the projects. Hello dear office printer-photocopier-scanner! You are my new best friend! [An arbitrary decision based on how many hours I spend with any one person/thing.]

I am also the errand-girl. Something expected of course, considering I appear to be the person with the most free time.=P Yesterday I had to run out to buy a WIRE that didn't work... Today I went to deliver artwork to a client because it was too big for a courier to carry! -_-" The document bag was almost as tall as me when I sat down.O.o Terrible. It's nice to spend time out of the office but sometimes I do wish that I had something else to do.=P

I spent the morning busy and now.. Hmm. I wonder what people can think up for me to do?

I've been watching Desperate Housewives which is intrigue, bitchyness, laughter, sweet moments, gossip and everything a girl could want in a show. There are hot guys too. ;) It's SO addictive. I totally understand why people couldn't stop watching it when it was showing on TV! xD

We also watched Deathnote 2 over the weekend and finished Hana Kimi!!! O GOSH. Wu Zun! xD You are VERY hot and VERY goodlooking! *squee!* And Jiro! You are too cute! xD Jiamin and I also managed to fit in a spot of fangirling over alice nine. ;) Not a bad use of the weekend! Ladida.

Oh Saga and Shou! xD I love how you 2 are close friends. =D =D =D

Oh Saga! xD Your style is VERY inspiring! And I know you know how gorgeous you are but really.xD xD xD No need to pose in such a droolful manner!

I would post pictures of the other guys but I keep deleting off alice nine. stuff from my computer because I don't want to clog it up [especially since it's not mine].=P I need to clear Cutie as soon as I can so I can fill it with more joy-inducing people! xD

I would blog about Gackt except that he's once again dormant and urm.... Off the press radar. *deep sigh* Not even a magazine appearance! ;_; Wails.

And the courier said...

Hello

Wee! Just now, a couriered envelope came for my dad and I was reminded of our hilarious [and worrying] encounters with the couriers employed for our usage in the office.^_^"

The whole office uses one courier who is extremely reliable, efficient and they are all about the service thing. However, a certain client chose this OTHER courier which really really sucks and gives my friend [seat-partner!] tons of headaches.=P

Like one morning, she zoomed into office, called the number and told A couriers [I'll call them "A" for the sake of giving them a name.=P] that she needed this package delivered URGENTLY, like within the next 30minutes - 1hour. So I offered to bring the package down for her because she was all frazzled looking. [And besides, I'm nice and helpful.^_^] After I brought the package to the reception, my friend zoomed off to do all those things she has to do away from her desk.

Half an hour later, I picked up a call from this woman who sounded like she was all stressed out. She kept asking for my friend and I kept telling her that she wasn't there. This happened repeatedly for the next hour. So 1.5 hours later, when my friend finally returned, she called this woman and asked what the problem was. Turns out, the package had not yet reached them and they needed it URGENTLY.

Hmm.

So my friend called A couriers and the woman went, "HUH. You said it was URGENT? It's still here in the office." My friend almost DIED. Haha. So she was like, it's been ONE AND A HALF HOURS CAN YOU PLEASE SEND IT NOW. So A couriers assured her they'd get it there in half an hour, something she promptly told the client.

If Masa [ex GacktJOB] were their courier, I'm sure we could say...

Problem solved right?

Wrong.

45 minutes later, stressed-client-woman called and was all, THE PACKAGE IS NOT HERE!!! (T_T) So my friend once again called A Couriers and the woman was like, oh! Our courier just left! -____________-" Both of us were like. OMG WHY ARE WE USING THIS SERVICE AGAIN. The package finally reached the client almost 3 hours after she first called them. So much for "urgent" service.

*shakes head*

In other hilarious work-related news, I seem to act as my friend's personal assistant, helping her take calls, jotting down who called and so on. Haha. These people are almost never around so since I'm practically glued to my chair half the time, it's up to me to answer the phone or be irritated to death! =P My friend is always very apologetic about getting me to help her do stuff [she only gives me stuff when I offer if you must know] so it's not so bad.^_^

She calls our position the "saikang warriors". Haha. I never thought I'd hear that phrase out of the army-guy context.=P Just like how I never thought I'd hear the word "chiong" out of the army-guy context. [I heard it from my driving instructor.]

But it can get pretty bad I suppose, dealing with unreasonable clients and the like.=P Today, one person was talking on the phone and going, "Oh don't worry! I'll get back to you the second I get any news! Yes yes I'll go find out now! Don't worry about it.=D =D =D". The next second, she put down the phone and screeched "F-ing SLUT!" Haha. I almost laughed at the irony of the situation but contained myself by concentrating on aligning the posters to photocopy.=P

Thank goodness for darling alice nine.'s entertaining blog entries. Of particular interest is Nao, who updates like, I don't know. Every half an hour or something. Haha.=P [I am exaggerating of course..] Whenever I got back to my desk, I'd continue reading the translations and try very very very hard to contain my giggles. O dear.

Anyway, my once trusty Nokia 6230i is beginning to fail me. (T_T) Very upsetting I might add. The battery dies very quickly and I've realised all the disadvantages of having a lousy camera in my phone. It's much easier to take random photos with your phone than with a camera which attracts far too much attention.xP

O my. My xxxHOLiC collection is INCOMPLETE. How is this possible? I remember downloading AND watching every single episode!!! OMG. WHAT HAPPENED!!! Oh. Found them. Oh thank goodness I label everything.(T_T)

Okay. Time to start burning to free up my laptop [which is COMPLETELY and TOTALLY full].^_^ And while that happens, I can make a list of Gackt stuff I have! And read more of Haruki Murakami's book!

Another Day...

Hello

Today, I was once again flipping through magazines for work. [I know. It sounds like such an "Omygosh you get to flip through MAGAZINES for work?! YOU COW!" but really, it's not that great when you have stacks and stacks of them to go through.] And today, I had to go through the high society magazines with all those rich socialites flaunting their gorgeous jewellery, droolful shoes and unaffordable dresses.

O yes. I was picking out the outfits that I liked.xD [What, you thought I wouldn't notice?]

But as I kept flipping, I got increasingly riled at these stupid women.

And I wondered... Exactly what did they themselves contribute in buying the dress? Surely if they hold no job, their husbands would have had to pay for it? If not, they could be one of those who take advantage of the system and "loan" the dresses off the brands with promises to flaunt them at social functions. [Hence their varied selection at every single function..]

So then I got all annoyed and grumpy. Okay, Georgia Lee [that dermatologist who rakes in heaps of money] who appears in so many branded dresses might have earned her own money by her medical profession. And Shabnam Melwani-Reis runs some.. company [family-owned I think?] so she might have earned her own money too. But the rest? THE REST? I got so grumpy that they did absolutely NOTHING to earn the dresses they were wearing. Well okay.. They have to marry rich first [or get an inheritance. Or have super rich parents.] but still. I don't think they paid for the dresses from their own pockets.

Which led me to think that life is truly an unfair and unjust world. And I came to the conclusion that unless it were a gift from someone I know, I would buy any branded item I own in future myself. With my own money. That I earned on my own. I mean, if say... My friend were to give me a *coughs* BIRKIN! *coughs* for my birthday, at least it'll be a gift from someone I care about. But I would never want to depend on someone else to fund ALL my purchases. [Seriously, singular bank account with loads of your own money in your own name? GO YOU!]

In this case, it would mean that I would have to strive to be rich and successful on my own! O faints! The very thought...O.o And here I am. At 19, already planning what to do with my [soon-to-be-earned] money. HMM.

If all goes well, I will have cupboards full of bags! And shoes! And jewellery! And gorgeous clothes! [Although I still think paying a few thousand dollars for a Chanel dress, no matter how beautiful, is a silly thing to do.] But I will never be like this one crazy socialite who keeps a separate apartment JUST for her clothes.-_-"

In other news, I met Vivion and Zeelei for lunch and Jiamin for dinner! ^_^ Good day.=D Haha. And we ate the Yuzu Soba at Shimbashi Soba at Paragon! ^_^ It was really yummy and chock-full of yuzu goodness.=D I love yuzu!!! Haha. I love all citrus fruits actually.^_^ [Hmmm... Or perhaps I haven't yet found a citrus fruit that I strongly dislike?] Beams. I wish they would have the yuzu equivalent here but not yet not yet! *stomps around*

I have also learnt about home decorating, the property market, branded clothes [xD], expensive [and all-too-well-known] wines... Basically the chi-chi lifestyle.=D Haha. Somehow, I wouldn't mind having the money for all of that, but at the same time, the whole "I must own an expensive car because I'm rich" thing is so overrated.-_-"

In between researching MADLY for work, I also managed to dig out alice nine. images! =D Beams. A little dose of Shou, Saga and Nao [and the 2 randoms] never hurt anyone.^_^ Of course, I have to try to keep from letting other people see because everyone will definitely think I'm weird, bizarre and generally... Strange. So yay! alice nine.! =D

Demented Shou amused me endlessly.xD Ahaha.

And gorgeous Saga is always a perk in alice nine. image searches.xD

Finally, Nao puts a smile on my face everytime.=D

^_^ More research tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be continually busy for the rest of this internship! Sure beats being bored and grumpy.=D

I not only love the namecards from Ogilvy Advertising, the other wing in Ogilvy called "David" has nice namecards too!!! xD Haha. Anyway, who's the person in charge of your account? And I applied to NUS. And I have to do "media monitoring" too!!! Haha.=P

Let's Do it together! ~Shall we COWBOY??~ + Alice in Wonder Film + DEATH-NOTE + Kai-san

Hello!!!

=D =D =D ULTRA LONG entry today. Please forgive me. And I'll try to insert random [and sometimes unrelated] photos.=D Beams!

So! Today Jiamin and I watched Alice in Wonder Film and DEATHNOTE! =D =D =D Yay!!! Like, I FINALLY watched Deathnote. Haha. Beams. And then and then! I just watched Let's Do it together! ~Shall we cowboy??~. Beams! It was COMPLETELY HILARIOUS and VERY VERY lame. Hahaha. O dear. And I'm so accepting of that! *dies*

Anyway, I shall start with Alice in Wonderfilm, the 2005 tour of alice nine.! =D

Beams! =D They had more fanservice in this tour compared to "HELLO, DEAR NUMBERS" and the stage set-up was more elaborate, probably to fit into the "wonderland" theme.=) They were also highly dramatic with very urm.... Unique costumes! =D Haha.

They once again had a great tracklist with lots of energy and spunk.=D Sadly, they had actually cut out all the MCs and a few tracks here and there. (T_T) Including some of our favourites like H.A.N.A.B.I.! Sigh. At least there was Yami ni Chiru Sakura [闇ニ散ル桜] which is not featured in HELLO,DEAR NUMBERS.^_^

They moved a lot though with more audience interaction than random running around the stage. Shou had TONS of hilarious and strange actions in this tour but it was dramatic and entertaining nevertheless.=D Nao, Saga and Shou provided GREAT squealing opportunities..xD xD xD BEAMS! Plus their costumes were quite cute! =D

It is difficult to describe the energy they bring to the concert with not only their youthful mannerisms, but also bouncy happiness at being able to perform.=) They seem genuinely excited and happy throughout the performance and this definitely translates into a very positive reaction from the fans. The fans in the audience get very "into" the whole head-banging thing. It's a little scary but its nice to see that they are able to draw the audience into their music.

^_^ I'm beginning to like alice nine. more and more! ^_^

On to Death note.=) It's a good show! Except for some inherent character flaws which irritated me to no end, the cute actors [especially L, played by the guy who played Shin in NANA 1] and good storyline were a big draw.=) L is so cute! Beams. I'm looking forward to Deathnote 2 and the manga, which Jiamin says is even better! Yay!

For dinner, we ate at Kai-San, the Japanese restaurant at Raffles Hotel.=) It's good! And they make good suggestions, and don't force you or make you feel bad about not choosing something expensive.=)

It was at Kai-San that I discovered the joys of Swordfish! ^_^ I can now add another acceptable piece of marine animal to my sashimi repertoire.=D Haha. They seem to focus more on sashimi and sushi as well as off-the-menu items so be sure to ask for what's good that day.=) I highly recommend their fish noodles, it has a lovely texture and taste! ^_^ Their broth is also really yummy and reminds me of the taste of naruto.=D I also tried the fresh wasabi and realised that while it does have the same taste as tube wasabi, it's not as pungent or hot/spicy [辣].=) Not bad, though I still have not acquired a taste for wasabi, much to the dismay of my parents.=P

A lovely dinner in a small setting.=) It can get noisy though, if there are a lot of people because the noise is amplified in a small space.

This video is filled to the brim with extremely retarded behaviour on the part of 4 grown men and their counterparts. However, it's also very funny and I was beaming all the way through the video! Even though I didn't understand a WORD of what they were saying [except for the occasional word or phrase], their actions and smiles and laughter were quite enough to share their happiness with me.^_^

Basically, Gackt and GacktJOB [with the exception of their drummer] go riding on horses and you get to see loads of funny things happening to them!!! Ahaha.

As beginners, You and Chacha [short for Chachamaru] must don helmets while riding the horses! Of course, Gackt plonks the cowboy hat on You's head because ahh! He looks so cute with the hat dangling from his helmet. Hahaha.

Of course, in usual Gackt-the-sadist fashion, he takes off while his band members are learning how to ride the horses to be a good star to his fans and visits one of them by surprise! He rides there on a white horse [which You describes as making him look like a Prince Charming (白马王子 in Chinese). Haha] and simply hops off, rings the doorbell and gladly poses for a picture. LUCKY GIRL.

When Gackt returns, his 2 bandmates are sitting lethargically on the bench, resting from all those bumpy practices on the horses! Hahaha. See Gackt. You are a LOUSY friend abandoning them!!! Haha.xD

Gackt has to choose clothes for You and Chacha from UniQlo and grins as he picks out stuff for them according to a theme they have chosen. They later model the clothes and it's HILARIOUS.

Here, Gackt and You inspect the cabin they will be inhabiting over the next few days.=) It's quite a large and spacious cabin actually!

Beams! You has to cook for everyone [and he keeps complaining that he's like their mother or something. Hahaha.=P] and you see Gackt and Ju-Ken [the bassist] going off to fish!

MWAHAHA!!! You get to see Gackt doing HARD LABOUR! Hahahahaha. I think they had to chop wood for their fishing rods or something? But omygoodness he is SO lazy. After that he was just leaning on a tree and waiting for Ju-Ken to finish cutting the branch. Hahaha.xD

Face-off!!!

After fishing, Gackt and Ju-Ken head to the local supermarket to pick up stuff for the barbecue at night.=D Ahaha. Gackt is super cute and retarded here and all they pick up is MEAT.-_-" Very bad example for the kiddies!!! Tsk tsk. Oh! And Gackt pats this little girl's head.xD SO CUTE.

They get back in time for lunch and You's curry is praised by Gackt! ^_^ Yay.

They do a couple more random things but then their cowboy adventure ends... And then you get extra shorter video clips to watch! =D

Gackt lost at the fishing game so his "punishment" is to be a waiter at the barbecue that night. Haha. He was hilarious because everyone was giving very O.o looks when he was serving food. Hahaha.=P

In another video, some lucky girl got to ride the horse WITH Gackt!!! (T_T) (T_T) (T_T) I was like NOOOOOOOOOOO! SIGH.

In their rest time, the boys read manga, and other random magazines while Gackt indulges in more physical activity...

In another video, they have some punishment games going on and the guy who owns the cabins gives everyone a diagnosis of their problems through a foot massage. It's REALLY funny!!! =D =D =D

Gackt beams and completely DIES laughing at You who bursts into laughter instead of screaming in pain like he's supposed to.=P [Hence the 爆笑 part.xD]

In the end, everyone gangs up against Gackt and drags him to go get a foot massage too.=P He keeps showing off his feet in an attempt to distract them and in the end screeches that he'll KILL everyone because he kept screeching in pain and grouchiness that they made him do it. AHAHA. O Gackt. You are SUCH a sore loser!!! Tsk tsk.

You get to see a lot more interaction between the band members and Gackt than in concerts since they are all having fun.=) I think you can also see their personalities from this video and see another side of them.^_^

Yay! It's been a nice and fruitful day PLUS I drove this morning.=D =D =D Beams! Thanks for being my squealing-over-hot-Japanese-guys partner Jiamin.^_^

alice nine. All in a Box

Hello

I saw this series on the foto_decadent community today! =D It's from the magazine "flair":

The first picture! It really caught my attention..=P

I love the setting here.^_^

This one is my favourite.=D

Gorgeous no? There are 7 images in this series so I didn't post them all or it would have completely FLOODED this blog [which is already overflowing with random words from me..]. I think it's an interesting concept! But my favourite series is still the one where the model looked EXACTLY like a mannequin. That one was ingenious.=D

Anyway! I can't wait to COWBOY with Gackt [and Jiamin!] and proceed through WONDERLAND with alice nine. [and Jiamin again!].=D =D =D Beams. While they are currently inaccessible, I will stave off all sadness by:

alice nine.!!!! =D =D =D These are the latest scans from the jrock_scans community from Neo Genesis Vol. 11.=D Must milk all these jrock magazines while alice nine. remains indie.. Haha. Their mainstream sound is bound to propel them into Gackt-like magazines soon.

SAGA!!! Omygosh. He looks SO GOOD here. *dies* His hair looks better than expected. Haha.

Nao! =D He's cool here.. But I think his smile is really cute! ^_^

alice nine.! =D =D =D Is there something wrong with Saga's mouth? Why does he keep covering it? He has a perfect face. He doesn't have to cover ANYTHING.-_-" Shou looks good though. HMM. *peers* And Nao too!!! =D *ignores the other two*

And I'm very inspired by the food shots by the guy who runs mattbites.com [as seen from the image above].=) They are GORGEOUS. His style actually reminds me a little of Donna Hay, what with the use of bright backgrounds and gorgeously styled food.=) I'm still trying to think of food styling for anything I bake, however, it's not QUITE working out as planned. Ahem. [I've never been known as "creative" anyway..]

Chocolate & Zucchini is a great place for funny writing, beautiful pictures, good recipes and wonderful food recommendations.^_^ [I learnt all about the wonders of Pierre Herme, Sadaharu Aoki and Mariage Freres from her and what joy they bring! ^_^]

I would love to attempt to style food but... HMM. It's a bit of a dubious comment when it comes from me, the one-with-no-artistic-presence-at-all. Still. I must persevere so I can create the food blog that I want. Maybe I'll make a make-shift template of some kind and slowly but surely work towards my goal [though that goal involves photoshop and great phototaking skills, neither of which I possess].
