Code Geass Season One Finale
Hello
I just finished watching the season 1 finale of Code Geass. OMYGAWD. The scriptwriters, director and all the people involved should be given an award for MOST GRIPPING ANIME EVER.
Every episode glues your eyes to the screen! SERIOUSLY. I was in utter concentration for the final 2 episodes which, presumably, were aired together. And I didn't even have to watch the previous episode to remind myself of what happened because they gave a nice recap at the start! ^_^ They obviously knew most people would have only the vaguest memory of what had happened before. Haha.
The ending is excruciating because, once again, the scriptwriters decided to insert a cliffhanger. This anime is FILLED with cliffhangers. But they definitely need a second season because right now, there are too many things left hanging in mid-air. We did learn a teensy bit more about Lelouch and C.C.'s pasts though those took all of 30 seconds in the entire 2 episodes [48 minutes and 58 seconds in total].-_-"
And I would like it if they would make the characters slightly less demented in the next season because now they are all seriously going mad. Even their facial expressions reflect their minds which isn't very pleasant because I'm all about the YAY PRETTY CHARACTERS! thing.
I will definitely be looking forward to the next season of Code Geass which better come soon *threatens*. I do hope everything will revert to its former prettiness and have less demented [though interesting] characters. ^_^ Or rather, I'd like a nice balance more than just screaming characters. Haha. Let's cross our fingers and hope the next season will have kept to the high standards and continue having good animation quality, a gripping storyline, more conclusions and answers as well as good pacing.^_^
Yay for Code Geass!
Tomorrow's my driving test. Squeaks. May Lelouch and C.C. be with me.
cheers

Hello Kitty!
Hello!
I spotted this and it was too cute to resist! =D
I'm not a fan of Hello Kitty but I still think she's cute and well.. All Sanrio characters are pretty much in the "*SQUEALS!* SO CUTE!" league so..=)

With a Hello Kitty head made from Swarovski crystals.. The LaVie G is...

A Swarovski crystal studded Hello Kitty laptop in PINK! =D And you can get it from NEC for just 199,500 Yen! =D [That's a little over S$2500 by the way.]

Not only do you get a pretty Hello Kitty head on your laptop, by the looks of the many listings on the NEC site, the laptop itself has tons of features.=D So far, I can only tell that there's a DVD-writer or something along the lines of that.^_^" And something about the sound.
Check it out HERE [click on the link!] to see more! [And if you can read Japanese, I'm sure that'd be good too. Haha.=P]
On the Sanrio site, there's something about monthly giveaways and look at this:

Hello Kitty Mushrooms!!! xD xD xD SO CUTE.
Squee! I think these Sanrio and San-X characters exist just to bring on a little smile on your face.^_^ Looking at them always makes me happy!
O yes. And I've finished watching sola! =D The ending wasn't terribly satisfying but there was a nice twist. The final episodes of Code Geass are also out! So I'm looking forward to that as well.=D
cheers

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
OMG.Episodes 22 and 23, the latest releases in the Code Geass series, were SO EXCITING. And so many shocking developments!!!!! And WEEPFUL events!!!!I can't believe episodes 24 and 25 are only going to be shown in SUMMER!!!How can they leave everyone in such suspense?!A showdown between Suzaku and Lelouch! The 2 VERY hot guys in the show!(T_T)I bet the scriptwriters are trying to come up with a good/believeable conclusion to this series. So far every episode has a BRILLIANT cliffhanger that leaves you dying to watch the next episode and the plot development has been magnificient! Apart from the occasional lapse in drawing quality, it is mostly full-on wonderful in every episode. And the best part is that, I have no favourites in this series so I can concentrate hard on the storyline, plot development and very exciting twists that are inserted instead of constantly drooling over someone.=PThe scriptwriters are so brave to kill people off. Very very very good twists I must say!!!If there's an anime you want to watch and aren't too fond of super guy anime [like Gundam] or super girl anime [like Fushigi Yuugi], Code Geass is a quite a good pick.- Good storyline- Interesting and well-developed characters- Fabulous twists that keep you on the edge of your seat- Cliffhangers at the end of EVERY episode- Goodlooking characters [always a plus in my book] [CLAMP designed them! How can you go wrong with CLAMP?]- Cool machinery [they fight with robots]- Suitable music [nothing jarring or inappropriate but nothing to shout about either], great ending/starting tracksBad points too so I'm not biased- The sometimes incredibly cheesy lines- Overly righteous and pompous characters [totally blown up on their own ego and cleverness]- Blood, guns and very nationalistic stances [it's about rebellions and such after all]- Scenes where you are just DYING for 2 people to end up together and they don't- Too many cliffhangers that make you want to kill the scriptwriters for getting you hookedSo yes. Code Geass! Oh I love you so.xDI would post images but its far too late and I'm going to sleep.cheers*[-witchstone-]*[music : Mosaic Kakera Sunset Swish (Code Geass OST)][mood : xD][food : I feel like drinking tea!]Labels: anime, Code Geass, thoughts

Split Shift Happenings
Hello
Gosh I'm tired. xP But there were quite a few random happenings at work today! Haha.
Random Happening No. 1:
Some guy who ate a lot of stuff [salad, cheesy garlic bread AND prime rib] asked me where Geylang was. And when I pointed randomly in one direction he went, "So... I guess it's better if I take a taxi?" All I could do was go, "Yea that's a good idea!" -_-"
Random Happening No. 2:
2 old men came to the restaurant and asked for 1 steak each. Then they decided they had to SHARE so... They asked me to put half a steak on each plate. The chef was most amused and went to chat with them.=P
Random Happening No. 3:
I had several lovely customers today who were unfailingly polite and very nice.^_^ Why do they usually happen to be elderly Caucasian couples who find you charming when you beam at them?
Random Happening No. 4:
I always get nervous laughter from Caucasians when I introduce them to the huge amount of choice [just 4 really..] they get when they order a steak. Strangely enough, the Singaporeans are NEVER amused and glare at you before they answer brusquely. (T_T) Am I not friendly enough?!
Random Happening No. 5:
This guy finished an entire bottle of red wine on his own. He's supposed to be a regular I think.. And when he gets drunk he continuously flirts with his waitress. Which happens to be... Me. -_-" He kept asking for my number and I kept telling him that my number was hidden in the receipt in CODE. -_-" My retardedness never fails to amuse me. [On the otherhand, he actually believed me. Like. WHAT?!]
Random Happening No. 6:
A guy who ordered 3 glasses of red wine put ice cubes in his wine. I almost fainted when I realised what he was doing. O.o
Random Happening No. 7:
I finally finished one stack of order sheets after recycling like mad to save paper! =D [Lucky I didn't get confused from all the scribbles.O.o]
In other news..

I finished Tsubasa Book 16!!! OMYGOD HEARTBREAKING!!! (T_T) (T_T) (T_T) Why o why is CLAMP allowing Tsubasa to develop in such a manner!!! The LAST PAGE saved it all but still! (T_T) FAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please o please let good things happen in book 17!!!

Where is the angst and depressive storyline I was promised in Angel Sanctuary? And will the author QUIT coming up with such long and confusing and hard-to-read names?! -_-"
I hung around in Starbucks today... It's really really really noisy but the outlet next to Borders has good Raspberry Tea Frappucino! =D It was well blended and had enough flavour.=D I know I know.. By hanging out in Starbucks and Coffee Bean, I'm completely blowing a portion of my almost-non-existent-salary on this hanging-out-in-town-to-kill-time-between-shifts thing. But still, apart from the noise, it's a nice place to hang out/study/kill time/read manga when you're alone. ^_^

I also visited my favourite place along Orchard Road: Kinokuniya! =D Omygosh. The Arena 37C Special Vol 30 had GORGEOUS full page pictures of Gackt's concert!!! COMPLETELY TEMPTING. But the poster was not enough to move me into wanting it badly enough.=P

Now, regarding my anime:
- Next up! Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Season 2 =D =D =D
- I read that NANA the anime is going to follow the manga all the way to the end. Yippee!
- Code Geass has EXCITING developments!!! =D Lelouch finally discovers Suzaku's after-school activities!!! [Now.. That is more innocent than it sounds.-_-"] Kyaa! I can't wait to see how it affects their friendship...
cheers

pixiezdust: Definitely! Saturday morning! No crowds, you're sure to get the magazine and you can browse all you want! =D
cch: I'm a Singaporean. I don't think I give BAD service. Haha. And no. It was a Singaporean who thanked me. I was in shock BECAUSE it was a Singaporean. The Caucasians usually thank you nicely. Unless they are grumpy men or hoity-toity women.xPLabels: Angel Sanctuary, Code Geass, Gackt, misc, NANA, Tsubasa, work

Wrath: The Completion of the Seven Deadly Sins!
Hello!
Yay! =D Although I have been totally slow at realising this, blackeri [on DeviantArt] has finally completed her Seven Deadly Sins series with WRATH.
Behold the flaming red of the anger and destruction that wrath can bring!

Funnily, everytime I hear the word "wrath", I'll think of William Blake's poem:
A Poison Tree
I was angry with my friend:
I told my wrath, my wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe:
I told it not, my wrath did grow.
And I watered it in fears,
Night and morning with my tears;
And I sunned it with smiles,
And with soft deceitful wiles.
And it grew both day and night,
Till it bore an apple bright.
And my foe beheld it shine.
And he knew that it was mine,
And into my garden stole
When the night had veiled the pole;
In the morning glad I see
My foe outstretched beneath the tree.
William Blake
^_^ I haven't posted his poems in a long time...
Besides blackeri's works, I love shirotsuki too! =D She's barely older than us [I think] and yet she has a wonderfully original art style and fabulous use of colour!

You can't tell about the colour here but lovely detail no? Sadly, I can't save some of my favourite pieces because my computer remains uncooperative on the "png" files.-_-"
Besides brilliant digital art [they usually draw on paper, scan it and then colour with computer tools OR they draw and colour on the computer itself], there are wonderful photographers as well!

This photograph is named "Elegance".^_^ Lovely no?

This painting reminds me of this poem, also by William Blake:
Eternity
He who binds to himself a joy
Does the winged life destroy;
But he who kisses the joy as it flies
Lives in eternity's sun rise.
William Blake
On a random note, I've got a new printer-cum-scanner-cum-photocopier! ^_^ I was setting it up today and discovered, to my delight, that there's a special compartment to store photopaper! =D Beams. Now I can attempt to print photos! Wee! *bounces around* And there's a little screen that displays your photo to be printed when you insert your memory card. Mwahaha. I was fascinated by it! =P
A new episode of Code Geass has just been released as well! =D Along with this "Visual Sound Drama" or something.xD Yay! WHY o WHY is iyforever SO SLOW at releasing NANA??? (T_T) (T_T) (T_T)
I also rewatched Gackt' "The Sixth Day & Seventh Night ~Final~" Tour today because I was all sad that I couldn't watch Training Days Drug Party in Taiwan. *sigh* Kyaaa! xD xD xD I really miss his voice.. Haven't heard him in SUCH a long time thanks to all the anime soundtrack distractions!!! ^_^ xD ^_^ xD ^_^ Beams. I should watch Malice Mizer next! *bounces off*
cheers

Honey & Clover, Lunch at Taste, Randomness + Gackt's new single!
Hello
So yesterday we had the fashion show [for maternity wear, don't ask.-_-"]. It was pretty fun overall but rather tiring thanks to that damned fake belly thing.-_-" [Don't ask.] Much thanks to Joyce for helping us!!! ^_^ Yay. And thankfully she didn't die of laughter when she saw us.. [Someone is obviously far more mature..-_-"]
And don't even think about me posting pictures.*deep sigh*

I've finished the first season of Honey & Clover. It ended on a "we'll definitely have a 2nd season" note because it was a rather incomplete ending.. But omygosh. IT IS SO SWEET. *dies* They have extremely sad/touching/sweet scenes interspersed with very funny scenes so everytime I felt I was going to cry, the next scene would make me laugh and the feeling would be gone. But the show is pretty heart-wrenching when you attempt to relate to the characters and their plights.*sobs*

Plot:
A group of students in an art college in Tokyo meet through different circumstances and end up being a group of close friends. Together, they go through romance, the trials and tribulations of adolescence and eventually, find out that their friendship is what is extremely important to them. The series focuses on different characters to give each coverage and depth, developing them in a wholesome way. The themes and situations are so realistic that one really is able to connect with the show and feel for the characters.

Another great thing about Honey & Clover is their soundtrack! They choose fantastic songs and since the fansubbing group offers translations of the insert songs, you can see that they [the music and lyrics] really fit the whole theme/mood of that particular episode as well as the whole series.^_^

While the drawings aren't pretty like CLAMP works, I have to say that I like the colouring and art style now. It kinda grows on you..^_^ The illustrations are very nice and detailed as well.. But the "water-colour" colouring of the anime gives it an overall softer look which is really pretty.^_^

I'm hunting for the special episodes [Chapter L and Chapter F] that were included on the DVD. I don't know if they subbed this by recording from TV, but the special episodes aren't included in this set. Argh!
We ate at Taste Paradise [Mosque Street, near Chinatown] today. It's not bad actually but the service is a little wonky.=S However, Majestic is still better.^_^" Although Taste does decent Chinese food..

Gackt's New single, no ni saku hana no you ni - Limited Edition CD cover.
I finally heard Gackt's new single! =) He performed just yesterday [3 February 2007] on Music Station.^_^ Surprisingly, his style this time is slightly different. The song is a ballad about his youth or something like that. It's quite a nice song and it really shows off his vocals.^_^ And aren't the CD covers simply beautiful? xD xD xD *BEAMS!*

Regular edition CD cover
I was reading my brother's blog and omygosh it's SO COLD in Ann Arbor that after he left a bottle of diet coke out on his window ledge for 20 minutes or so, the entire top part turned to slushy diet coke! Amazing! Haha.Excuse my fascination but since your coke can only get warm and warmer on one's window ledge here, this is exciting news indeed.=D
Yay! The newest Code Geass and NANA episodes were released this week! =D Code Geass has some great developments between Lelouch and C.C. while the next episode promises to delve into Lelouch's past. NANA is getting upsetting.. I hate it when the 2 Nanas don't talk!!! (T_T) I can't wait for the next few episodes to see what happens next..
Since we were in the area today, we bought pineapple tarts from Dai Thong! ^_^ They're actually pretty yummy in a different sort of way. This particular batch [their batches differ each time so taste before you buy] has a crumbly pastry that isn't too thick. YUM! It's different from the melt-in-your-mouth pastry but it's yummy all the same.=) Yay!
I drove on the road for the first time today too.=P Haha. I think the instructor wants to MURDER me for my completely lousy eyeline. =X I almost missed a red light, always forget to check for pedestrians, negotiate turns/humps/filter lanes too fast, and veer to the left too much. Urm. All I can hope for is improvement in the future.^_^" Heh.
Anyway,

NANA, Code Geass, CHOBITS, Books & SAGA! xD
Hello
Oh how I love anime. Don't ask me why but I do.^_^ It's like a drama but you can insert more comical expressions since those can be drawn in.=D
Wee! So I'm not even halfway through NANA, but I think they are taking plot development really nice and slow.-_-" There's nothing I haven't seen in the movie so with 11 episodes down and still not moving on, I'm wondering when they'll get to the part that comes after the movie. Still, I'm not complaining, it's nice to see the developing relationship more in-depth.^_^
Of course, I'm still railing against that disgusting Sachiko but I also blame Shouji for cheating on Hachi. How dare he! -_-" What I like about this anime is that the girl's thoughts and feelings are very realistic, something one can relate to especially since we're nearly their age. I have the same thoughts as some of them about certain characters and I might respond in the same way. That's probably how NANA became so popular as a shoujo manga.=)
Paradise Kiss isn't terribly realistic while NANA deals with situations that we might face [apart from the forming a rock band thing]. I'm looking forward to further developments! ^_^ This anime is designated 50 episodes so far but we'll see how things go.=D

^_^ Nana and Hachi had to sleep together because Nobu crashed their apartment.=P I'm still amazed at how the rent is so incredibly cheap! Hopefully they'll reveal the reason soon enough or maybe they'll just simply leave it as another of the miracles that these 2 girls experience.=P

Because the starting song is by Anna Tsuchiya inspi' NANA (BLACK STONES), the "theme" song that Nana sings is Rose as well. Unfortunately, I think Glamorous Sky is a much stronger song with better musicality. Rose has a lesser impact compared to Glamorous Sky.
The songs for NANA in general though, are quite acceptable.=D I really love the ending theme, A little pain by OLIVIA inspi' REIRA (TRAPNEST) and I think it's cool that they selected songs not just for the anime, but for the bands within the anime too.^_^ I'm looking forward to the 2nd season's music, Wish and Starless Night by OLIVIA and Kuroi Namida by Anna Tsuchiya.^_^
Code Geass is becoming more compelling although I have to say that they have really really really lame script writers for Lelouch's character.-_-"
And all the cute guys have huge flaws that are quite unforgivable!
First though, let me introduce another character! =D

The brown haired guy is Suzaku, Lelouch's childhood friend, newfound enemy and pilot of a brandnew weapon that appears to be undefeated and indestructible. [What a mouthful.] He's cute too no? xD But he too has a big flaw!
Lelouch:
Positive Qualities: Goodlooking, smart, full of strategy and caring towards his friends and younger sister. He's also popular and has leadership material.
Negative Qualities: Arrogant, overly confident and narrowminded. Unable to see beyond his goal, he refuses to accept anything else. He also has seriously lame and cliched views, such as naming his new order the "Knights".-_-" O little boy dreams.. Will they never fade?
Suzaku:
Positive Qualities: Goodlooking, smart, kind and nice to everyone. He's forgiving too! He's also the only guy who can pilot the new weapon, making him capable and he's also a great athlete.;)
Negative Qualities: Singleminded in his approach as well, overly righteous and far too honest for his own good. [His honesty can be taken both ways though.]
*deep sigh*
I just knew that the perfect guy doesn't exist. The perfect ones always have a flaw somewhere or some deep dark past.-_-"
Take Lelouch's costume for his "Zero" persona that he uses to command the resistance against the present government for example:

Painful is it not.-_-" I'm like, what is UP with the mask? He reminds me of a very strange and futuristic Batman. When I first saw this get-up, I almost died.-_-"

His "Knights" order. Look at the completely lame and cliched costumes and POSE! -_-" O geez. I'm trying to tell myself that the character designers and writers did all this by taking into account his age [he's still in high school] meaning he wouldn't be as sophisticated, presumably. But yet they portray him to be a brilliant strategist and very smart if a bit presumptuous.
Oh the dilemma!
In any case, there are a whole cast of interesting characters as well behind Lelouch and Suzaku.=) I'm dying to find out more about them, especially the Royal Family of Britannia and Lelouch and Suzaku's classmates, friends and family.^_^
I'm almost done watching CHOBITS. I already know the entire story since I read the manga but back then, when I thought it was sweet.. I have completely different thoughts now.(T_T)
Although it is sweet that the 2 main characters end up together in the end after going through all the trials and tribulations of getting to know each other.. Don't you think it's still ridiculous that despite all the other characters saying that a human and a persocom shouldn't get together, they still allowed Hideki and Chi to end up together? I also think it's sad that they should portray them having a happy future together because.. I don't think humans and persocoms should end up together. If that happens.. It's as if a persocom is a true replacement of a human being. And I find it terribly sad that Hideki should help everyone get together with the one they love and in the end, he's left with Chi. Although he is happy about being with Chi... Can a human truly find happiness with a computer?
Sigh. CHOBITS.. I used to like the manga but I'm having second thoughts now..xP All I can say though is.. I think Chi's clothes are really nice!!! xD
On a completely unrelated note,
Ahh! After reading Time, Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman by Haruki Murakami sounds really interesting!!! (T_T) Maybe I should upgrade to such.. intellectual novels as soon as possible. Plus it's apparently a collection of stories and includes some of his best so it'll be a good introduction to his work, no? Currently, I'm reading The Book of Lost Things by John Connelly. It's relatively interesting but the way he writes doesn't draw your attention into the book. The character is about to meet with events that has a lot to do with the plot though, so I'm looking forward to whatever is going to come next.^_^
And on another unrelated note,

Is Saga not the hottest bassist ever? xD xD xD *BEAMS!* His hair reminds me of Uruha's though.O.o The whole, flipped out, highlighted look... xD xD xD O well. He's hot anyway!
I'm sad that Shinsen Subs and Ureshii stopped their collaboration on Code Geass but another group took over so all's well. It's pretty slow though, they've released up to Episode 10 but in Japan it's at 14. Nana is good though.^_^ I like this fansubbing group. I still need to watch FMA! xP
And I need to hunt down the rest of the X/1999 series!!! Like, NOW! (T_T) And Angel Sanctuary!!! (T_T) And Kino has to have another sale soon!!! (T_T) Ah well. Good time to finish up all the books lying around my house and room..
cheers

Wendaye: It's at the entrance where the busstop is, next to Max Brenner's.^_^ And nice description of the cake Wendaye.-_-" About Canele-ing.. I REFUSE to go to Robertson Quay again unless you will 100% show up!!! *growls* It's too far to make any mistakes and the only things around to comfort oneself are like, Kino and Meidi-Ya! xP But.. Maybe we can all go after Joyce comes back from Hong Kong! =D Labels: alice nine, anime, books, CHOBITS, Code Geass, NANA

Code Geass, Loveless, Ouran and a failed Cream Puff
Hello!
Another productive day.=P
My dad and I went to the bank this morning and I was merrily reading this HSBC investment plan that promises a 6% payout in the first quarter! How great does that sound? But then my dad reminded me that you don't really have a guarantee after that. So when I merrily went, Oh then just withdraw after the first quarter! I realised that these things usually get you to leave your money there for a minimum period. Tsk tsk. The sneaky ways of banks!!! Haha. But isn't it brilliant that it sounds so convincing?
I also finished the 5th volume of the Loveless manga. I CAN'T WAIT for the 6th and 7th and more!!! (T_T) I read some scanalations and some summaries but couldn't bear to read the entire vol 6 before the Chinese one comes out..xP Ohmygosh. Loveless is getting really really really exciting!!! =D =D =D More about Ritsuka, Seimei and Soubi coming up! ^_^ I am really liking this series so far.=D Although the heart-wrenching relationship between Ritsuka and Soubi is too gripping for words and poor Yuiko continues to linger around the edges of Ritsuka's life.. (T_T) Oh tragic! Perhaps I should invest in my own copies and quit borrowing from friends.xP Eeks.
Anyway, I got the first episode of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, an anime that is airing currently in Japan. Introducing the main character, Lelouch!

BISHOUNEN! xD Hehe. [Okay. *coughs* He's not really a bishounen exactly. But you know. Just.. goodlooking in general.xD] I know. It is extremely shallow but I was attracted to this anime by the goodlooking guys..xD [Ahem. Visual aspects in anime are very important!] Anyway, the anime is about how Britannia, the last remaining superpower in the world, has taken over Japan and renamed it Area 11. Thus, I believe the show is something about rebelling against Britannia, involving Lelouch who is a Britannian but hates Britannia and urm... SOMETHING like that.=X I haven't actually got the gist but the first episode was REALLY exciting! Anyway, Lelouch gains this power, his "Geass", [it's actually spelt geas and apparently, is somewhat like the Greek "tragic flaw"] and is able to mind-control people. He thus uses it and so on and so forth.
There's lots of fighting and blood to make this a guy anime but there are goodlooking guys to make it acceptable to girls! ^_^ Yay.

He gets these scary eyes when he summons his Geass if I'm not wrong.=D Even though it's scary, it's still quite pretty, no?
I also realised when watching the credits that CLAMP did the character design for Code Geass!!! =D No wonder everyone looks so good! *beams*

xD Kyaa! Looking cool neh? =D This anime is pretty exciting so far so I'm looking forward to the coming episodes! ^_^
Today I wanted to bake for Joyce's birthday! So I decided to make a giant cream puff so that we could all share it.=D I used my regular cream puff recipe and although I felt the dough was rather different from what I usually get, I decided to go ahead anyway. [My mom claims it tastes fine]

Look at it! It puffed up magnificently in the oven and I was squealy with delight.^_^ At first it remained rather flat so I was quite worried but when I saw this I was thrilled! ^_^ I was imagining.. delivering this GIANT cream puff and attempting to stab a candle in!
Then I took it out of the oven to cool and.. and..

(T_T) (T_T) (T_T) It collapsed. Miserably. RIGHT IN THE CENTER!!! [Can you see the dent!!! (T_T)] I cut it in half anyway and filled it with custard in a vain hope that somehow, the custard would magically puff the whole thing up again.

Well. Of course it didn't but.. (T_T) At least my mom said it tasted good.. *deep tragic sigh* Here's the custard attempting to spill out. Miserable attempt. But at least I now know that cream puffs aren't meant to be large. Maybe I'll try making a medium-sized one next time! [Or try using self-raising flour to see if it sustains it's shape better.=P]
Gomen ne Joyce. =X I will try better next time!!! (T_T)

Ouran Kokou Hostobu! ^_^
I'm rewatching Ouran High School Host Club! =D I still laugh at all the jokes and retarded things that they do.xD Beams. And rewatching it has made me remember why I like this series so much! ^_^ And TAMAKI!!! OMG. xD xD xD Perfect boyfriend material! *squeals* And Honey!!! xD BEAMS. I realised that it's only after the later episodes that I liked Kyouya..xD

Another reason to like Ouran besides the lovable and endearing characters, hilarious storylines and dramatic sets is the great animation and drawing! They didn't stinge on the drawing so although sometimes they do get a teensy bit distorted, scenes like this make you remember that they did put effort into drawing nicely.=D Beautiful sakura! Oh.. I would totally go for an Ouran Hostobu Hanami!!! xD

As mentioned above, great drawings!!! xD Yay. I LOVE these sweets. Don't they look absolutely AMAZING? =D =D =D Wagashi!!!

Ngyahaha! I love this scene, it's so comical! While all the guys look cool and everything, Haruhi [the girl with a shirt draped over her head] is like O.o at the camera.xD Beams. Kyaa! But as you can see from their extended limbs, these animators have the same tendency as CLAMP to make their characters have very long limbs.=S

xD xD xD The scene where Tamaki [the blond guy] leaps into the ocean to save Haruhi [the girl in his arms] made me completely fall in love with him when I first watched it. [Funny how I only realise these things when I watch it a second time..] I mean ohmygosh SO SWEET! *squeals* Tamaki is so gentlemanly [and polite. And charming. And kind. And generous. And...] I always wonder if this is a creation by a girl [or rather, the mangaka] to fulfil her dreams of meeting such a princely young man..

Kyaaaa!!!!!!! xD xD xD SO SWEET!!! *squeals again* I mean ohmygosh just let Tamaki and Haruhi get together already!!! =D =D =D All together now! Awwww.=D Isn't it sweet that he really wanted to "protect" her from the one thing she's scared of, thunder? xD
Besides these really sweet scenes, you've got a cast of hilarious characters! ^_^ [Although I'm not focusing on everyone this time. It'll be too much to type.xP]

^_^ Honey!!! Omygosh. SO ADORABLE!!! xD xD xD Kawaii!! Truly the loli-shota type, I think his cutesyness might get on some people's nerves but he's so cute!!! xD Beams. *feels motherly instincts coming on* *runs and hides from them*
^_^" Ahem.
But ahh!! KAWAII!!! xD

Then there's Mori!!! xD xD xD Devoted friend to Honey, he's good looking and his taciturnity is his selling point. ;) Beams. You know, I always thought that if there was a guy like him in school [good looking but quiet], he'd be very popular just because.xD Haha.
Basically, it'll be nice to have characters like the guys in Ouran in school.^_^ Adds colour to an otherwise dull and meaningless existence.=P

^_^ Oh male friendships..xD So sweet.=D Hehe.
Ahh yes. The beauty of living in an anime-dreamworld! =P *flicks back to reality* Ah well. If only guys here were taller.. Then maybe there'd be more to look forward to when one goes out..=P
cheers
